Since most people spend more time at work in recent times, this has led to workplace issues and health problems. The well‐being of occupants their overall are strongly impacted by factors that determine the standard indoor environments. These include air quality, level thermal comfort, inclusion plants, admission daylighting, a variety other factors. absence any these may result sick building syndrome (SBS). Therefore, well‐planned workspaces vital for occupants’ productivity work. aim article is investigate proactive measures mitigating SBS office buildings located within universities United Kingdom. study administered questionnaire gather perceptions occupants, followed comparative case analysis two University Greenwich on different campuses highlight correlation among physical parameters spaces occurrence SBS. results showed notable percentage participants reported experiencing least symptoms This provided clear evidence primarily associated with characteristics building, elements significantly influence experiences. mitigation potential adverse effects inhabitants during operating phase resulting from variables can be achieved implementation conscious design considerations initial planning stages future buildings. One practical implications it raises urgency built environment professionals fully aware how decisions could either contribute or prevent symptoms.

Window views drive residential quality and real estate value, especially in high-density cities. However, previous studies have relied on limited data to define window views, which limits the accuracy, interpretation, quantitative assessment of views. For first time, this study took advantage virtual tour module a online marketplace develop voluminous easily accessible urban-scale view dataset for Wuhan, China, quantified composition 3041 using computer vision, determined correlation among 9 indices landscape floor, explored nonlinear relationship between house prices these landscapes. The results revealed that most common landscapes apartment windows city are sky high-rise buildings, with water being relatively rare landscape. hedonic price model indicate "copious" "appropriate" trees, outside positive impact price, while "minimal" hard ground grasses, "sparse" trees negatively associated prices. novel method findings offer valuable insights urban planning, architectural design, development.
