Abstract In the present study, we report the green synthesis of novel magnetically separable MgFe2O4 nanoparticles using Cajanus cajan (L.) Millsp leafs via combustion method. The were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission (TEM), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), and UV-Vis spectroscopy. crystalline structure MgFe2O4 NPs was confirmed XRD micrograph TEM showed that nearly spherical particles with particle size ranging between 5-15 nm. UV-vis DRS study optical band gap found to be 1.0 eV. Microwaves (MW) assisted degradation PCM-dolo drug on were performed at different operating parameters such as time (0-30 min), concentration (PCM-dolo 50 mg/L), initial (0 mg/L -110 microwave power (100W-600W) obtained residual absorbance MgFe2O4. Experimental data used compute efficiency enhanced catalytic performance could ascribed production MW-induced active species, holes (h+), superoxide radicals (•O2−) hydroxyl (•OH) in process. A possible mechanism pathway proposed MW/MgFe2O4 system. Moreover, an eco-friendly catalyst easily separated recycled a magnet.

Abstract In this work, polycrystalline BaFe 11.5-x Al x Co 0.5 O 19 (0≤x≤2) hexaferrite samples were synthesised by means of the sol–gel technique. Thereafter, magnetic and structural properties are thoroughly examined. Cell refinement XRD examination verified a magnetoplumbite arrangement with space group P63/mmc for each sample. The parameters ‘a’ ‘c’ in lattice fall value from 5.885 Å to 5.875 23.117 23.049 Å, respectively. Both average crystallite size unit cell volume exhibit declining trend as doping level increases. For M-type hexaferrites, optimal range c/a values is determined be 3.923–3.928.
