Rapid economic development has led to an overwhelming surge in waste generation, demanding urgent and comprehensive management solutions, particularly developing countries. Source separation is a critical indispensable step integrated featured as government-led pattern general. However, its implementation challenges persist many cities because of complex systems lack multi-stakeholder partnerships. Since there paucity empirical research focusing specifically on the recycling business, this study presents case HUGE Recycling, operating Yuhang District, Hangzhou, China, explore effectiveness business-driven, partnership model promoting source separation. The paper reveals that business plays significant role bridging gap between local governments, residents, industry identifies some key factors cooperative model, fulfilling requirements multi-stakeholders. This fosters collaboration industry, encouraging active participation alleviating government’s burden. findings highlight potential applicability Recycling Model resource-constrained countries for better resource management.

How to save resources and protect the environment at destinations is one of hot issues in tourism. One effective solution cultivate tourist resource-saving behavioral intentions (TRSBI). Prior studies mainly use Structural equation modeling (SEM) explore its antecedents, whereas other potential methods (i.e., fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis, fsQCA for short) have been less adopted. This study combines SEM examine TRSBI a rural tourism context. Specifically, executed investigate how environmental concern influences based on theory planned behavior (TPB), while applied uncover multiple configurations formation. The findings from indicated that (1) positively directly influenced TRSBI; (2) TPB constructs attitudes toward behavior, subjective norms, perceived control) separately mediated associations with TRSBI. outcomes showed three result high level TRSBI: control, concern, (3) concern. combined approaches offer systematic holistic

Waste sorting is a practical way of handling the garbage and an effective strategy for facilitating sustainable waste management. This research extended theory planned behavior (TPB) with self-identity moral norms to predict intentions in heritage context tourism. A total 403 valid self-administrated questionnaires were achieved at destination China. The results indicated that: (1) TPB variables (i.e., attitudes toward behavior, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control), self-identity, all directly positively linked tourists' intentions, respectively; (2) indirectly influenced through mediation norms; (3) integrated model exhibited better predictive utility than any single model. contributes literature on management tourism by extending identity personal normative constructs. The objective of this study is to analyse the relationship between tourist attitudes towards waste generation in Slovakia and their corresponding behaviours. With an increasing emphasis on environmental responsibility, understanding behaviours beliefs tourists concerning management crucial for promoting sustainable practices within tourism. This research focused specifically visiting Slovakia, offering valuable insights into attitudes. A questionnaire was distributed electronically 324 respondents through platforms such as MS Teams, email, social networks. captured regarding generation, responsible consumption, environmentally practices. sample size responses validated representativeness. statistical method, principal component factor analysis (PCA), used assess data suitability identify underlying patterns. Correlation conducted examine relationships variables, with a significance check included. results showed significant correlation reduction provides important implications tourism enhancing stewardship industry. These findings offer that can support more targeted interventions so improve tourism, thereby contributing Slovakia’s sustainability goals.

Maximizing rural residents’ primary role in domestic waste sorting and management is critical to improving the living environment advancing socioeconomic development. This study aims analyze entire process of by residents using sample data from 2420 households surveyed 2021 China Land Economic Survey (CLES). Based on Theory Planned Behavior (TPB), this develops a research framework for analyzing waste-sorting behavior. It examines inter-relationships among behavioral cognition, intention, response employs structural equation modeling (SEM) empirical verification. The results demonstrate that subjective norms, classification attitudes, perceived control exert statistically significant positive effects both intention responses toward sorting. Moreover, demonstrates predictive effect actual further identifies mediating throughout process, while potential correlations norm, attitude, suggest additional mechanisms underlying warrant exploration.

Residents’ environmental citizenship behavior is essential to the protection and sustainable development of rural destinations. However, previous research with regards has focused on an employee perspective, rather than a resident one. Through theoretical lens Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) model, our examined how perceived CSR (ECSR) contributes residents’ behavior, resident-environment relationship quality acting as organism. Data collected from Chinese destination were analyzed structural equation modeling approach. Results indicate that: (1) ECSR directly positively influences behavior; (2) variables (i.e., identification commitment) affect (3) affects commitment; (4) mediate effect behavior. The current complements existing tourism literature focus aspect residents in findings also provide some practical implications that potentially facilitate adoption among for management.
