Abstract Police officers demonstrate increased risk of physical and mental health conditions due to repeated prolonged exposure stressful occupational conditions. Occupational stress is broken into two types: operational stress, related the content field duties (e.g., demands); organizational cultural structural contexts interpersonal relationships). Applied police research focuses on physiological activation in tasks as a mechanism explaining non-optimal performance outcomes. However, recent survey-based studies indicate numerous stressors associated with self-reported symptoms. The question whether elicit significant activity remains unknown. current proof-of-concept study tests hypothesis that managers will display reactivity before, during, after engaging reality-based scenarios representative management developed from evidence-based pedagogical approaches. Public safety personnel (PSP) are at risk of experiencing operational stress injuries (OSIs). The functional impairments caused by OSIs can contribute to challenges with returning pre-injury requirements. Introduction: Public safety personnel (PSP) experience operational stress injuries (OSIs), which can put them at increased risk of experiencing mental health and functional challenges. Such challenges result in PSP needing to take time away from the workplace. An unsuccessful workplace reintegration process may contribute further personal for their families as well staffing shortages that adversely affect organizations. The Canadian Workplace Reintegration Program (RP) has seen a global scale spread recent years. However, there remains lack evidence-based literature on this topic RP specifically. current qualitative study was designed explore perspectives who had engaged due potentially psychologically injurious event or OSI. Early psychological health studies in policing often focused on trauma and critical incidents (CIs). More recent research builds a compelling argument that significant causes of harm stems from other operational organizational factors. The current study uses survey data large sample Australian police ( N = 1763), producing strength metrics derived mediated regression analyses. relationships between stressors (trauma CIs, organizational) (psychological distress burnout) were studied. Background: Police personnel are among the first responders exposed to terrorist attacks, raising in number late decades. Due their profession, they also repetitive violence, increasing vulnerability PTSD and depression.Objective: Our study aims at comparing prevalence of depression, risk factors associated with these conditions directly indirectly versus non-exposed police during Strasbourg Christmas Market attack.Method: Three months after attack, participants completed a survey assessing sociodemographic characteristics, occupational data, degree exposure, sleep debt around event, event centrality (CES), three mental health conditions: (PCL-5), depression (PHQ-9), suicide (yes/no questions).Results: A total 475 responded questionnaire: 263 were attack (182 them directly) 212 non-exposed.
