Home-based informal caregivers (CGs), such as the family members and friends of cancer patients, often suffer averse emotional symptoms, anxiety depression, due to burden associated with providing care.The natural environment has been valued a healing sanctuary for easing pain, promoting calmness, relaxation, restoration.The use virtual reality (VR) nature experiences offers an alternative option CGs manage symptoms improve their quality life.The aim this mixed-method pilot was evaluate feasibility acceptability nature-based VR experience home-based CGs.Nine participated in 10 min session completed feasibility, acceptability, symptom measures laboratory.Semi-structured interviews five provided qualitative data regarding VR.The (mean age 64.78 years) were mostly female (n = 7).Our analysis showed high (15.11 ± 1.76; range 0-16) (15.44 1.33; 0-16), well low Symptoms (1.56 0-27).Participants primarily expressed positive perceptions during interviews.Our findings show promise experiences.In next phase study, intervention will be tested on patients at end life.

Background: As dementia care evolves, digital interventions are being developed to improve the quality of life people living with dementia. It is also increasingly recognised that some can use and benefit from using themselves. Therefore, exploring effectiveness experiences such essential optimise intervention development delivery. Method: 5 databases were searched (MEDLINE (Ovid), PsycINFO, EMBASE, CINAHL Web Science) for papers reporting outcomes or experiences, involving mild cognitive impairment engaging improving their life. 73 relevant published between 2018–2023 identified, 59 included data 18 on experiences. Results: The integration evidence identified in interventions, if they motivated, provided tailored training, support, appropriate devices content. Benefits seen within domains cognition, health well-being social relationships. more frequent when home environment specified daily/weekly usage requirements.
