Cilj je ovog preglednog rada prikazati sažetak trenutnog stanja primjene terapije ozonom u medicini i dentalnoj na temelju pretraživanja znanstvenih članaka kliničkih studija. Pretraživanjem tražilice PubMed uočen značajan porast broja istraživanja periodu od 2015. do danas, a posebno posljednje tri godine, što ukazuje sve veći interes za kliničku primjenu. Tome pridonosi razvoj sigurnih uređaja načina uporabe. Ozon otkriven prije više stotinu godina tada se široko koristi mnogim područjima uključujući mnoge grane medicine. Mnogobrojne studije dokazale su pozitivan učinak ozona antioksidativni kapacitet, kao modulacije vaskularnom, hematološkom imunološkom sustavu, ali njegovu efikasnost ako primjenjuje adjuvans konvencionalnim terapijama. Snažan oksidacijski omogućava suzbijanje gotovo svih mikroorganizama, zbog čega ozon ima baktericidna, virucidna fungicidna svojstva. Međutim, unatoč korisnim učincima koji mu omogućuju široku primjenu medicini, primjena nije pokazala očekivanu učinkovitost. Lokalna ozona, antimikrobnog sredstva nekirurško liječenje parodontne bolesti, dobar alat potpore parodontnoj terapiji.

Abstract Objectives This pilot study aimed to compare the efficacy of 0.1% tacrolimus and 0.05% clobetasol propionate in orabase for treating symptomatic oral lichen planus (OLP). Materials Methods Pilot, randomized, controlled conducted on 21 patients with OLP, selected according clinical histopathological criteria Cheng et al. 2016. Twelve received tacrolimus, nine clobetasol, both 30 days a two-month follow-up. The were examined scores signs (ODSS), symptoms (VAS), quality life (OHIP-14), anxiety (Beck Anxiety Scale), treatment satisfaction (Hedonic Scale). Results Both treatments effective reducing ODSS, VAS, Beck Scale performed well hedonic scale, yet without statistical difference between them. However, at 1-month follow-up, group C showed greater percentage reduction ODSS score compared baseline by 50% (p = 0.02) significantly lower average values 0.03) than those T. Longitudinal intragroup analysis revealed significant improvements over time groups only OHIP-14 scores. Conclusions Two tested protocols three-month due cost it can be considered first-choice option. Tacrolimus formulation may promising alternative refractory lesions that do not respond topical steroids. Clinical Relevance Managing OLP is challenging. Comparisons formulations have been thoroughly explored.
