Previous
research
suggests
that

constructs.

little
is
known
about
why

they
negatively
related.

a
process-oriented
approach,
this
cross-sectional
study
tested
self-compassion
grit
as
mediators
for
the
relation
between
wandering.

of
487
self-identified
meditators
were
recruited
from
UK
(241
female,
49.49%).

38.98

an

per

self-report
questionnaire

Abstract
This
study
investigated
the
relationship
between
compassion
and
mindfulness
in
teaching
among
early
years
practitioners,
with
low
levels
of
psychological
distress
as
a
mediator.
A
total
81
practitioners
were
recruited
from
United
Kingdom
via
mass
emails
announcements
on
social
media
platforms.
Findings
based
path
analysis
indicated
that
lower
mediated
positive
relation
intrapersonal
teaching,
after
controlling
for
level
education,
practice,
role
practitioner.

specifically,
