As Ukrainian refugees grapple with adapting to a new language and cultural environment, the extent of linguistic adaptation varies. Intriguingly, respondents may simultaneously commit their traditions while navigating challenges posed by sociocultural conditions. Against backdrop traumatic experience induced conflict, analysis examines impact on mental health, specifically investigating potential manifestation hyperactivity avoidance behaviours. The findings shed light intricate interplay between acculturation, preservation trauma among forced migrants. study involved 502 from Ukraine who left for United States under programme aged 18 58 years (M = 27); gender (male-46%, female-54%). Resilience showed that 75% participants exhibited moderate stress resistance, 90% demonstrated high resilience Scale. Acculturation strategies varied, 32% adopting assimilation, 25% integration, marginalisation 18% separation. Correlation identified significant relationships indicators acculturation factors, emphasising complex strategies, levels adaptation. show positive relationship levels, lower assimilation associated steeper increase in compared higher levels.
