ABSTRACT Vegetable enterprise in the valley of Kashmir holds tremendous significance as it ensures nutritional requirements population, enhances profitability farming sector, and has enormous employability potential this predominantly agrarian economy. The present study explores logistics vegetable enterprises, primarily focusing on spatial spread market centers, their functioning, role, efficiency supply chains, postharvest losses, constraints. used Nearest Neighbor Analysis, Location Quotient, Rao's Sphere Influence method to demarcate Trade Area. It was found that there is a random distribution markets with Rn value 1.12 across region, largest trade area (27 sq km) second‐order center at Srinagar. From Boxall loss method, between 20% 25% vegetables are lost along entire chain account inadequate infrastructure lack technology awareness. analysis reveals shorter chains exhibit higher compared extended chains. However, despite lesser efficiency, these comprised producers, preharvest contractors, wholesalers, retailers, consumers more prevalent (51%) small farm size, low income, quantity produce, which validated from results Chi‐square Analysis Variance tests ( p < 0.05) level significance. constraint analysis, revealed numerous intermediaries, sizes, counseling training, an improper support system, information main obstacles enterprise. The retail industry is a crucial element of the urban commercial framework, and its spatial configuration profoundly influences planning, infrastructure development, resource allocation, sustainable development. Based on point interest (POI) data for Ningbo’s in eastern China, this study used methodologies such as kernel density estimation, buffer analysis, local autocorrelation analysis to investigate distribution characteristics influencing factors industry. findings are follows. First, exhibits “block aggregation multi-center development” pattern. overall trend oriented from northwest southeast. Second, various outlets generally cluster around two core zones multiple island-like areas, which reflect differences hotspots due varying characteristics. Third, stores highly correlated with physical geographical features, population distribution, major road networks, residential zones. research indicate that Ningbo currently faces issues an excessive concentration specific formats lack format diversity. Optimization strategies were proposed sustainably develop Ningbo. This provides valuable information formulate development other small medium cities.

Accurately measuring industrial spatial agglomeration patterns is crucial for promoting regional economic development. However, few studies have considered both degrees and cluster locations of industries. Moreover, the traditional multi-scale location mining (MCLM) method still has limitations in terms accuracy, parameter setting, calculation efficiency, etc. This study proposes a new framework analyzing patterns, which uses Duranton Overman (DO) index estimating newly developed local DO (LDO) locations. The MCLM-LDO was proposed by incorporating LDO into MCLM method, it validated via comparisons with three baseline methods based on two synthetic datasets. results proved that can achieve accuracies 0.945 1 computational times 0.15 s 0.11 datasets, are superior to existing methods. further applied analyze industry computer, communication, other electronic equipment manufacturing Guangdong Province, China. showed gives more holistic perspective serve as meaningful references sustainable

The merger of artificial intelligence (AI) and spatial analysis is revolutionizing strategic development. Businesses are wielding the power geographic information to streamline operations, optimize product placement, cater directly customer needs. By analyzing real-world examples like Walmart's UPS's supply chains, Kaiser Permanente's healthcare delivery, we've witnessed profound impact these technologies. As businesses integrate AI-powered insights from data into their strategies, exciting possibilities for innovation efficiency emerge. However, unlocking full potential technologies requires navigating challenges related accuracy, reliability, ethical considerations.

Urban planning in China is shifting from an administrative unit-based approach to community life circle planning, aiming align units with residents’ actual activity ranges. As the most fundamental circle, daily (DLC) must adopt a bottom-up approach. However, widely applicable methods for delineating DLCs remain lacking. This study presents strategy centered on neighborhood commercial areas that aggregate essential services. Correspondingly, method proposed identifying based usage of facilities. The was applied Qinhuai District, Nanjing, where were identified and factors influencing their formation types quantitatively analyzed. results indicate following: (1) accurately identifies can serve as DLC central areas; (2) diversity, public transportation stops, parking spots are three influential area formation, exhibiting non-linear threshold effects; (3) type varies by population density, housing prices, street betweenness, betweenness being significant factor. These findings provide indicators delineation contributing realization construction concept.
