Abstract Selenium (Se), as one of the essential trace elements, plays an anti‐inflammatory, antioxidation, and immune‐enhancing effect in body. In addition, Se can also improve nervous system damage induced by various factors. Earlier studies have described important role mitochondrial dynamic imbalance lipopolysaccharide (LPS)‐induced nerve injury. The inositol 1,4,5‐triphosphate receptor (IP3R)/glucose‐regulated protein 75 (GRP75)/voltage‐dependent anion channel 1 (VDAC1) complex is considered to be key regulating dynamics. However, it not clear whether Selenomethionine (SeMet) has any influence on IP3R/GRP75/VDAC1 complex. Therefore, aim this investigation was determine SeMet alleviate LPS‐induced brain elucidate function it. We established and/or LPS exposure models vivo vitro using laying hens primary chicken cells. noticed that reversed endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS) dynamics significantly prevented occurrence neuronal apoptosis. made finding morphological observation tissue detection related genes such ERS, complex, calcium signal (Ca 2+ ), dynamics, Other than that, we discovered crucial controlling Ca transport between mitochondrion when functions a neuroprotective agent. summary, our results revealed specific mechanism which alleviated apoptosis for first time. As consequence, great potential treatment prevention neurological illnesses (like neurodegenerative diseases).

Acute ischemic stroke (AIS) incidence across the globe is on rise, and deleterious effects have not yet been improved with use of current pharmaceuticals. Tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) has many risks time constraints, making it difficult to even as standard treatment. Selenium deficiency a strong linear correlation among various populations. Using ADME-Tox software, selenious acid absorption in brain cells, tissue, interstitium was modeled under conditions determine bioavailability selenium (Se) using IV (intravenous) infusion doses. Additionally, we studied cytotoxicity selenourea human dermal fibroblasts (HDF) lung carcinoma cells (A549) overall growth toxicity different body cell lines account for systemic side infusion. Our data suggest that can reach dose-dependent concentration 1.5µg/L or 250µg/L within two hours one-time infusion, showing ability vasculature. Intestinal diseases often stem from a compromised intestinal barrier. This barrier relies on functional epithelium and proper turnover of cells, supported by mitochondrial health. Mitochondria lysosomes play key roles in cellular balance. Our previous researches indicate that biogenic selenium nanoparticles (SeNPs) can alleviate epithelial damage enhancing mitochondria-lysosome crosstalk, though the detailed mechanism is unclear. study aimed to investigate role crosstalk protective effect SeNPs function mice exposed lipopolysaccharide (LPS). The results showed LPS exposure increased permeability mice, leding structural lysosomal. Oral administration significantly upregulated expression levels TBC1D15 Fis1, downregulated Rab7, Caspase-3, Cathepsin B, MCOLN2, effectively alleviated LPS-induced lysosomal dysfunction maintained integrity mice. Furthermore, notably inhibited mitophagy caused adenovirus-associated virus (AAV)-mediated RNA interference intestine homeostasis, damage. These suggested regulate inhibit its regulating TBC1D15/Fis1/Rab7- signaling pathway. thereby alleviating It lays theoretical foundation for elucidating repair, provides new ideas ways establish safe efficient nutritional regulation strategies prevent treat inflammation.

All age-, sex-, BMI-matched controls met very strict qualification criteria. Se levels were analyzed by ICP-MS, studies conducted using TQ-LC/MS. 40 acylcarnitines, 90 glycerophospholipids, 15 sphingomyelins identified quantified.
