The photoantibacterial properties of titania nanoparticles (TiO2NPs) are attracting much interest, but the separation their suspension limits application. In this study, encapsulation commercial TiO2NPs within self-assembling tripeptide hydrogels to form hgel-TiO2NP composites with significant is reported. Fmoc-Phe3 hydrogelator was synthesized via an enzymatic method. resulting composite characterized DLS, ζ-potential, SAXS, FESEM-EDS and rheological measurements. Two different concentrations were used. results showed that, by increasing TiO2NP quantity from 5 10 mg, value elastic modulus doubled, while swelling ratio decreased 63.6 45.5%. antimicrobial efficacy hgel-TiO2NPs tested against a laboratory Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) strain two methicillin-resistant S. (MRSA) clinical isolates. Results highlighted concentration-dependent superior antibacterial activity over in dark after UV photoactivation. Notably, light exposure substantially increased biocidal action compared TiO2NPs. Surprisingly, absence light, both significantly growth relative control groups. These findings support role as promising agents sanitation contexts. However, they also signal concerns about influencing virulence.

Aloe vera is well known for its biological properties as a bioflavonoid-anti-inflammatory, antibacterial agent. It has been used frequently in the food sector coating hygroscopic and an ingredient lucrative industry. Studies have also included eco-friendly green solution based on these properties. The current research focuses use of gel printing pastes alternative sustainable to synthetic thickeners, evaluating wet performance ease fabric stitching, inspired by studies that similarly this substance measuring effect fabric's coefficient friction antimicrobial action. In study, with natural colourants thickener derived from leaves Crete increased mechanical resistance abrasion compared untreated pastes. measured did not differ substantially prints traditional pastes, hence tolerating substitution non-contaminant variant. enhanced wear prolongates serviceable life resulting garments, decreasing need high industry processing volumes and, result, reducing pollution. was evaluated using dominant method textile testing Martindale apparatus, which cycles failure, weight loss, general appearance deterioration official photographic standards.

Skin injury affects the integrity of skin structure and induces wound healing process, which is defined by a well-coordinated series cellular molecular reactions that aim to recover or replace injured tissue. Hydrogels are group promising biomaterials able incorporate active ingredients for use as dressings. This study aimed synthesize hydrogels with without propolis extract evaluate their physical characteristics biological activities in vitro potential dressings treatment lesions.
