The aim of the study was to reveal relationship between activity inflammation, infectious component, platelet function and dyslipidemia, in development subclinical atherosclerosis patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Material methods. Fifty women SLE at age 52.0 [48.0–58.0] years disease duration – 11.5 [6.0– 22.0] were examined. control group consisted 21 healthy women. concentration high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP), interleukin 6 (IL-6), IgG antibodies Chlamydia pneumonia (at CP), level Toll-like receptor (TLR2), factor 4 (PF4) oxidized high-density lipoproteins oxLDL) determined by enzyme immunoassay. Platelet aggregation indices, lipid spectrum, intima-media thickness (IMT) common carotid arteries investigated. Results. A significant increase IMT artery (1.00 [0.80–1.10] 0.80 [0.70–0.90] mm, respectively; p <0.01) TKIM bifurcation (1.10 [1.00–1.20] [0.70–1.10] <0.01), increased hsCRP (3.67 [2.17–5.92] 0.74 [0.30–1.26] mg/L, IL-6 (1.72 [1.39–2.68] 0.60 [0.22–0.75] pg/mL, <0.01). Significant activation noted SLE: TF4 (21.5 [19.80–23.28] 18.30 [13.88–20.46] ng/mL, marked oxLDL (3.16 [1.45–4.60] 1.39 [1.26–2.04] kp, At CP TLR2 values did not differ from controls. Conclusion. In addition traditional risk factors for cardiovascular disease, association atherosclerotic lesions vascular wall can be explained additional inflammation autoimmune processes. role component is further study.

Objective To identify the correlation between thrombosis and atherosclerosis in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients with antiphospholipid antibodies (aPLs) (SLE/aPLs) through high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging (HR-MRI) of carotid artery. Methods A single-center, cross-sectional study was conducted. We collected consecutive SLE/aPLs healthy controls who underwent HR-MRI examinations. The morphometric characteristics common artery (CCA), internal (ICA), external (ECA), bulb (Sinus) were measured, differences parameters different groups analyzed. Results total 144 arteries Compared control group, wall area, thickness (WT WTmax), normalized index CCA, ICA, ECA, Sinus increased SLE/aPLs, vascular area (TVA) Sinus, bifurcation angle (BIFA) ICA-ECA also increased. negative anticoagulant (LAC) (with or without positive anticardiolipin antibody (aCL) anti-β2glycoprotein (aβ2GPI)) contributed to illustrating lower TVA thickened vessel walls CCA ICA thrombotic events. Introduction. The interest in the study of anti-oxidized low-density lipoproteins (anti-oxLDL) is due to their association with development and progression atherosclerosis metabolic syndrome. Purpose study. To level antibodies oxidized serum obese children. Materials Methods. 76 children aged 5 17 years participated A standard objective laboratory examination was performed, including physical sexual development, lipidogram anti-oxLDL levels. assess anthropometric data, deviation coefficient calculated using Auxology application. parameters fat metabolism were determined according data blood biochemical analysis. content by immuno-enzymatic analysis test kits “Biomedica”. Results. According results patients divided into three groups: group 1 included 36 constitutional-exogenous obesity increased anti-oxLDL, 2-30 normal 3-10 healthy low density (oxLDL) 11.6 times higher compared antibody titer prepubertal 2206 [1809;2603] IU/mL, adolescents it 1505.5 [1109;1902] IU/mL. highest values levels observed 1st degree 2623 [2245;3001] IU/mL 3rd 2914.5 [2678;3151] Conclusion. High found pre-pubertal obesity, especially obesity. In children, has a direct correlation duration underlying disease increase lipoprotein (LDL) Further studies are needed on role anti-OCOLDL as an early predictor clidren
