This review offers a comprehensive of the signals and paramount role neuroinflammation plays in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Huntington's, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The study explores sophisticated interactions between microglial, astrocytic, dendritic cells how affects long-term neuronal damage dysfunction. There are specific pathways related to mentioned inflammatory processes, including Janus kinases/signal transducer activator transcriptions, nuclear factor-κB, mitogen-activated protein kinases pathways. Neuroinflammation is argued be double-edged sword, being not only protective agent that prevents further neuron but also causative factor more cell injury development. concept contrasting inflammation with neuroprotection advocates for use therapeutic techniques seek modulate neuroinflammatory responses part neurodegeneration treatment. recent research findings integrated established knowledge help present image neuroinflammation's impact on its implications future therapy.

Oral contraceptives (OCs) are approved for use after onset of menarche, which is well before brain maturation complete. OC may induce biochemical changes in the brain, especially during neurobiologically dynamic adolescent/young adult years. MicroRNA cargo L1CAM-associated extracellular vesicles was measured from serum samples collected young women using miRCURY LNA miRNA Focus PCR Panel (Qiagen) and validated quantitative PCR. Linear regression F-tests were applied to identify differentially expressed microRNAs by (never versus current), PANTHER pathway analysis conducted on gene targets significantly microRNAs. Twelve had significant differential expression variability (Bonferroni adjusted p < 0.002). Pathway revealed that 1254 unique genes targeted most enriched Gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor (FDR q = 5 × 10 -7 ), associated with release gonadotropins, pubertal development, reproduction. The results consistent hypothesis microRNA circulating reflect brain-related biological activity influence vesicle composition. difference have implications designing future studies, including power calculations.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a devastating neurodegenerative disorder. The pathology of this based on two basic mechanisms: amyloid-beta (Aβ) and tau fibrillation. Many genes mechanisms have been identified as the primary causes AD in clinical settings, there exciting developments drug treatments. Several molecules biological structures regulate genome outside standard DNA function. As many diseases, circular RNAs (circRNAs), microRNAs (miRNAs), exosomes (EXOs), investigated from different aspects AD, are useful for treatment diagnosis. This review examines elements regarding their roles Aβ-tau potential targets. Importantly, activities miRNAs that play role these processes were evaluated. ABSTRACT Extracellular vesicles (EVs) have emerged as pivotal mediators in neurological diseases, showcasing multifaceted potential roles ranging from pathogenesis to diagnosis. These nano‐sized membranous structures, released by various cell types including neurons, astrocytes, and microglia, encapsulate a diverse cargo of proteins, lipids, RNA species, even DNA fragments. In neuropathology, EVs contribute significantly intercellular communication within the central nervous system (CNS), influencing physiological or pathological cascades. Through transfer bioactive molecules, modulate neuroinflammation, neuronal survival, synaptic plasticity, propagation protein aggregates characteristic neurodegenerative disorders. Moreover, their presence biofluids such cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), blood, urine reflects pathophysiological state CNS, offering window into diagnosis, monitoring treatment diseases. Recent advancements EV isolation techniques, coupled with high‐throughput omics technologies, facilitated profiling cargo, enabling identification disease‐specific biomarkers high sensitivity specificity. Background Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a degenerative illness of the central nervous system that irreversible and characterized by gradual behavioral impairment cognitive dysfunction. Researches on exosomes in AD have gradually gained attention scholars recent years. However, literatures this research area do not yet comprehensive visualization analysis. The aim work to use bibliometrics identify knowledge constructs investigate frontiers hotspots related AD. Methods From January 2003 until June 2023, we searched Web Science Core Collection for literature We found 585 papers total. bibliometric study was completed using VOSviewer, R package “bibliometrix,” CiteSpace. analysis covered nations, institutions, authors, journals, keywords. Results Following 2019, articles increased significantly year year. vast majority publications came from China US. University California System, National Institutes Health, NIH Institute Aging US were primary institutions. Goetzl Edward J. frequently co-cited, while Kapogiannis Dimitrios most prolific author discipline with greatest number articles. Lee Mijung et al. been prominent last two years Journal Disease widely read publication, Alzheimers & Dementia had highest impact factor.
