Abstract This study aimed to determine the biofunctional properties, such as antioxidant, antimicrobial, anticancer, and antidiabetic activities, of peel extracts obtained through microwave‐assisted extraction (MAE) red beet, dragon fruit, prickly pear peels using water a green solvent. Results indicated that exhibited high total phenolic content (TPC), ranging from 345.93 1651.17 mg GAE/L. The DPPH scavenging capacity ranged between 7.16 34.65 mg/mL, while ABTS 0.93 15.27 mg/mL. Dragon fruit extract (DFE) (PPE) showed significant α‐glucosidase inhibition effects, with 67.79% 37.50% inhibitions, respectively. Moreover, antibacterial activities were observed against five pathogenic bacterial strains ( B. cereus , E. coli S. aureus L. monocytogenes enterica ) at various concentrations extracts. cytotoxic effect on HT‐29 HeLa cancer cells was also observed. most abundant compound in DFE rutin (0.558 mg/g); PPE, hesperidin (0.596 beet (RBE), (0.426 mg/g) predominant compound.

Pitahaya (Hylocereus spp.) is an economically significant cactus fruit in Peru, renowned for its rich nutritional profile and antioxidant properties while exhibiting wide biological diversity. This study aimed to morphologically characterize seven pitahaya accessions using qualitative quantitative descriptors related the cladodes, flowers, fruits. Univariate multivariate (FAMD, PCA, MCA, clustering) analyses were employed identify classify based on their morphological traits. The revealed three distinct groups: one consisting solely of AC.07; another with AC.02, AC.04, AC.06; a third including AC.01, AC.03, AC.05. first group exhibited superior characteristics, particularly traits such as stigma lobe count (23.3), number bracts (26.5 mm), length apical (15.75 mm). second recorded highest spine (3.21), bract (16.95 awn thickness (5.12 had (37) average locule (23.65). These findings highlight diversity among accessions, indicating potential classification selection cultivation. AC.07 stands out terms agronomic qualities, weight (451.93 g) pulp (292.5 g), surpassing other accessions.

Due to the complex growth positions of dragon fruit and difficulty in robotic picking, this paper proposes a six degrees freedom picking robot investigates manipulator’s motion characteristics address adaptive issues manipulator. Based on agronomic cultivation, structural design dimensions its manipulator were determined. A kinematic model based screw theory was established, workspace analyzed using Monte Carlo method. Furthermore, dynamic Kane equation constructed. Performance experiments under trajectory non-trajectory planning showed that significantly reduced power consumption peak torque. Specifically, Joint 3’s decreased by 62.28%, during placing, resetting stages, torque 4 10.14 N·m, 12.57 16.85 respectively, compared 12.31 15.69 22.13 N·m planning. This indicated operates with less impact smoother Comparing simulation actual testing, maximum absolute error joint torques −2.76 verifying correctness equations. Through field experiments, it verified machine’s success rate 66.25%, an average time 42.4 s per fruit. The operated smoothly each process. In study, exhibited good stability, providing theoretical foundation technical support for intelligent picking.
