Progressive climate change increases drought frequency, severely impacting crop growth and yield. New eco-friendly alternatives to chemical protection agents fertilisers are needed reduce pollution enhance plant health. This study evaluated the effects of growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) hydrogel (potassium polyacrylate) on Brassica napus L. during conditions. After in vitro pot experiments, Serratia plymuthica was selected from six PGPR candidates based its ability biomass, shoot length, number internodes. The seed viability test, reactive oxygen species accumulation, SOD activity showed no adverse applying canola seeds. Moreover, did not show toxicity towards tested bacterial strains. Field trials demonstrated that inoculation with S. significantly increased siliques (16.48%) yield (19.93%), compared controls. Plants grown inoculated seeds were also taller (3.28%) had more branches (39.99%). We analysed seedling emergence, internodes, thousand seeds’ weight, moisture. applied soil delayed emergence dampened effect plymuthica, resulting reduced Compared plants there a decrease treated solely bacterium 23.61% 27.79%, respectively. Our results indicate has high potential for use commercial farming, especially as an ingredient added coatings.

Abstract A field experiment was applied in the fields of Al-Amin area Dhi Qar Province/Al-Rifai District within fall season 2023-2024. The study aimed to evaluate effect combination factors bacterial inoculation ( Pseudomonas fluorescens ), fungal Trichoderma harzianum and organic fertilization (compost wheat straw) on growth yield Brassica napus L. ABSTRACT Verticillium dahliae is a devastating pathogen that causes wilt of Brassica napus . This study investigated the application Pseudomonas putida and Trichoderma harzianum as biocontrol agents against V. , their impact on growth B. was studied. In vitro, dual‐culture assays revealed significant mycelial inhibition by both T. (96%) P. (83%). For in vivo studies, fungus ( ) directly introduced into ‐infested soil, seeds were sown (T + VD). inoculation with bacteria, primed –infested soil (P Both treatments significantly improved physiological parameters (seed germination, root length, shoot relative water content chlorophyll contents) decreased electrolyte leakage oxidative burst (malondialdehyde, H 2 O ). These also increased concentrations osmolytes (proline sugar content) enhanced enzymatic activities (catalase, peroxidase superoxide dismutase). After 21 days control treated plants (inoculated only or displayed no wilting symptoms. dahliae– inoculated severe symptoms wilting, lower leaves turned yellow showed curling. Treatment T VD almost disease symptoms, while treatment P exhibited negligible Histological analysis colonisation vascular system treatments. findings successfully demonstrated significance for controlling

Novel carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) films with liquid products of pyrolysis (LPP) from wood pine were produced. The obtained CMC-LPP plasticized 5% glycerol. a light brown colour characteristic smoky scent, and showed higher oxygen permeability when compared to control film without the addition LPP. exhibited high antioxidant activity (5 18 times than CMC films). Furthermore, antibacterial was tested, showing strong inhibiting growth effect on seven tested human pathogenic bacteria. new material had most substantial bacteriostatic Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella typhimurium, Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Introduction LPP plasticised produces an eco-friendly biocidal favourable mechanical structural properties, which shows its potential for possible use in many industries.

Introduction Phosphorus (P) readily forms insoluble complexes in soil, thereby inhibiting the absorption and utilization of this essential nutrient by plants. deficiency can significantly impede growth forage grass. While Trichoderma viride ( T. ) has been recognized for promoting assimilation otherwise unobtainable nutrients, its impact on P uptake remains understudied. Consequently, it is imperative to gain a more comprehensive insight into role facilitating Methods This research explored influence inoculation Chloris virgata C. across various sources. We treated plants with control (P), tricalcium phosphate (TCP), calcium phytate (PHY), low (LP), without (P+T, TCP+T, PHY+T, LP+T). analyzed photosynthesis parameters, indices, pigment accumulation, content, leaf acid phosphatase activity. Results demonstrated that alleviated inhibition photosynthesis, reduced activity, enhanced presence Additionally, enabled extract available from sources, as evidenced substantial increase content: shoot content surged 58.23 59.08%, root rose 55.13 55.2%. Biomass P-use efficiency (PUE) declined 38% upon compared non-inoculated paralleled reduction photosynthetic (PPUE) 26 29%. Inoculation under sources further triggered lower allocation biomass (25 26%) higher investment (74 75%). However, application condition curtailed . Discussion Our results suggest represents an innovative approach acquire amid environmental limitations. crucial comprehending synergy among grass, P,
