Abstract Background Fuke Huahuang formulation (FHF) is widely used in the treatment of vaginitis, with clinical evidence indicating its promising anti‐inflammatory properties. Methods We explored bioactive components and potential mechanisms FHF for treating reveal pharmacological activities against vaginitis. Results A total 12 584 targets were identified. Furthermore, 1427 vaginitis‐associated identified, 184 intersection between vaginitis constructed network analysis. Gene Ontology pathway analysis revealed that therapeutical are involved modulating inflammatory stress, enhancing immunoregulation, reconstructing microenvironment, suppressing cell damage. Molecular docking further suggested possible direct binding compounds (fumarine) to core targets, including AKT Serine/Threonine Kinase 1 (AKT1), Signal Transducer Activator Transcription 3 (STAT3), nuclear factor‐kappaB (NF‐κB). Experimental validation found FHF‐treated rats exhibited reduced intracellular AKT1, STAT3, NF‐κB protein expressions. Conclusion Overall, we identified thus offering a theoretical fundament exploring future.

Abstract Vaginal infections caused by Candida albicans are a significant global health concern due to their recurrence and negative impact on quality of life. This review examines the pathogenesis C. infections, emphasizing critical virulence factors such as biofilm formation, adherence, phenotypic switching. Risk include immune system suppression, antibiotic use, hormonal changes, all which can lead fungal overgrowth infection. Current prevention and/or treatment strategies primarily rely antifungal therapies, personal hygiene practices, probiotics. However, challenges like resistance, recurrence, limited efficacy highlight need for innovative approaches. Therefore, emerging methods novel agents, vaccines, nanotechnology-based delivery systems offer promising advancements improve infection control. Additionally, plays key role in preventing with both innate adaptive immunity acting restrict colonization growth. Commercially available products, creams, vaginal probiotics, solutions, practical options but often lack long-term efficacy. Persistent challenges, including patient noncompliance, restricted access hinder comprehensive efforts. Thus, future research should focus promoting interdisciplinary approaches, integrating personalized medicine, enhancing healthcare accessibility. intends present current state art within abovementioned issues enhance understanding multifactorial nature advanced strategies, essential reduce burden candidiasis worldwide life outcomes. Background: Vulvar vaginal candidiasis (VVC) is a type of vaginitis resulting from Candida infection the mucosa. Traditional treatments using antibiotics often lead to resistance and disrupt microenvironment, causing ongoing problems for patients. In response these challenges, this study introduces multifunctional intelligent responsive probiotic hydrogel designed modulate microecological environment combat albicans infection. Methods: The innovative CMCS-OHA-Lp/Lr was formulated oxidized hyaluronic acid (OHA) carboxymethyl chitosan (CMCS) as carriers, incorporating Lactobacillus plantarum (Lp) rhamnosus (Lr) active components. Comprehensive characterization revealed its chemical structure, rheological properties, rapid self-healing gel degradation, release lactobacilli in vitro. Results: findings demonstrated that hydrogel’s cross-linking conferred significant physical properties. addition, vitro showed cumulative rates Lp Lr medium with pH 5.5 were 83.50 ± 2.70% 73.31 2.22%, which proved pH-responsive characteristics probiotics acidic environments. Furthermore, storage activity indicated survival CMCS-OHA-Lp CMCS-OHA-Lr hydrogels 86.90 0.20% 85.50 0.56%, respectively, proving encapsulation within significantly enhanced stability probiotics. vivo studies further confirmed alleviated vulval edema symptoms reduced C. colonies vagina, thereby mitigating inflammation. Conclusions: conclusion, pH-responsive, self-healing, shear-thinning offers promising approach clinical treatment VVC serves an effective delivery vehicle.

Introduction: Among every four women, at least, three of them experience vaginal candidiasis caused by Candida albicans. People with dysfunctional immune system such as the aged, very young children, altered pH and sugar content in secretions a result pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, diabetes, hormonal fluctuations, smoking, black race, oral-contraceptives, obesity use broad-spectrum antibiotics increases frequency to acquiring infection are therefore vulnerable fungal infections.
