COVID-19
pandemic
had
a
huge
global
impact
on
healthcare
systems
that
affected
all
medical
services,
including
burn
care
facilities.

analyzes
the
effects
of
this
crisis
pediatric
injuries
by
comparing
patient
data
from
2019
(pre-pandemic)
and
2020
(during
pandemic)
at
national
center
in
Romania.

Background
and
Objectives:
Burn
injury
represents
a
very
important
public
health
problem
that
affects
all
age
groups.
Of
burns,
of
particular
interest
is
the
perineum.
Despite
importance

unfortunately,
medical
literature
on
this
anatomical
region
sparse.
With

we
aim
to
analyze
characteristics
burns
affecting
perineal
area,
physiopathologic
implications
injury,
influence
patient
prognosis,

complications

guidelines.
Materials
Methods:
