Summary The escalating demand for ultra‐processed foods poses a growing concern due to its potential adverse effects on human health. This study conducts comprehensive bibliometric analysis of research and review articles investigating the intricate relationship between gut microbiota. Employing rigorous search strategies across Scopus Web Science databases, we identified 211 English‐language articles. Utilising Biblioshiny R‐tool Bibliometrix, analysed publication citation trends, prominent contributors, collaborative networks influential journals. Our investigation reveals consistent upward trajectory in both publications citations over past 42 years. Notably, by Chassaing et al. (Nature, 519, 2015 92) Thomas al . (Frontiers Microbiology, 2, 2011 93) stand out with highest counts, highlighting their impact domains.
