Frankliniella intonsa (Thysanoptera: Thripidae) is a polyphagous pest that causes significant economic agricultural losses by damaging flowers, vegetables, and fruit trees. We performed an age-stage two-sex life table analysis to evaluate the performance adaptability of F. against nine common vegetable crops cultivated in Guangxi: cowpea (Vigna unguiculata) (Fabales: Leguminosae), green beans (Phaseolus vulgaris) soybean (Glycine max) catjang cylindrica) courgette (Cucurbita pepo) (Cucurbitales: Cucurbitaceae), wax gourd (Benincasa hispida) bitter (Momordica charantia) cucumber (Cucumis sativus) chieh-qua Cucurbitaceae). Among tested host crops, beans, cowpea, significantly accelerated growth rate favored reproductive success intonsa. Green facilitated rapid success. The mean generation times (T) net rates (R0) were as follows: 14.90 d, 17.09 21.03 104.04, 45.51, 32.61. Bitter suppressed population (T: 49.49 0 d; R0: 0.73, 0). Wax gourd, cucumber, exhibited moderate effects characterized delayed development lower output 22.30 20.30 19.51 32.73 7.17, 25.22, 13.74, 12.54). These findings highlight critical role crop type dynamics. Therefore, production necessitates improved control measures monitoring. Similar are needed for soybeans, gourds because they pose risks potential hosts.

ABSTRACT Mythimna separata is a destructive polyphagous pest of field crops. Insecticides are generally applied for its control which not only negatively affect natural enemies and the environment cause resistance in insect pests. There need friendly method safe life. Currently, entomopathogenic fungi being used as biological agents different insects. The influence Isaria fumosorosea on survival, life table parameters, enzymatic activities M. were assessed. On seventh day post‐treatment, highest concentration 3 × 10 8 spores/mL −1 caused 92.5% larval mortality. effect LC 15 50 I. recorded parental generation (F 0 ) first filial 1 . parameters F showed decreasing trend intrinsic rate ( r ), net reproductive R o mean generational time T total duration, fecundity ratio treated groups.
