Lambda-cyhalothrin is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide that widely used to control leaf-eating pests. Because of increased resistance, an understanding sublethal cross-generational effects insecticides important. We examine the concentrations (SLCs) (LC10, LC20, and LC40) lambda-cyhalothrin on growth, reproduction, detoxification enzyme activities F0 F1 generation Henosepilachna vigintioctomaculata. toxic adult H. vigintioctomaculata, with LC40 at 48 h 0.355 mg L-1. At SLCs, significantly reduces longevity average fecundity adults, prolongs durations egg, larval, pupal stages preoviposition period. Additionally, concentration decreases net reproductive rates, both finite intrinsic rates increase in generation, increases cycle. The activity adults treated SLCs for trends upwards. Results indicate low induce glutathione S-transferase carboxylesterase inhibit multifunctional oxidase activity. development, reproduction viltioctomaculata population remain inhibited by treatment stage, inhibitory concentration. efficacy against shows effects.
