Cardiovascular disease (CVD) remains a significant global health concern for women, influenced by complex interplay of social, economic, and environmental factors. This article examines cardiovascular risk through the lens exposome, which encompasses all exposures from conception onward, including pollution, diet, chronic stress. Social determinants such as socioeconomic status (SES), education, stress management play crucial roles in shaping women’s health. Lower SES education are associated with greater exposure to adverse living conditions, poor nutrition, limited access healthcare, increasing CVD. Environmental particularly air pollution climate-related changes, further exacerbates promoting oxidative inflammation. Additionally, gender-specific factors, pregnancy menopause, interact heightening vulnerability women risks over their lifetime. Addressing these factors requires comprehensive approach, incorporating public strategies that focus on reducing improving food security, mitigating social inequalities. By addressing cumulative interacting contribute disease, especially more effective prevention can be developed improve long-term outcomes.

Purpose To determine the relationship between self-reported physical activity and components of premorbid metabolic syndrome in patients treated primary care according to sex. Methods Cross-sectional descriptive study conducted on a sample 2,359 without cardiovascular disease or diabetes, included cohort IBERICAN study. Using ANOVA models adjusting for age, economic status, employment situation, level education, adherence Mediterranean diet, tobacco use alcohol consumption, we estimated association variables blood pressure, triglycerides, HDL cholesterol, glucose waist circumference with (sedentary, moderate, high, very high). The analyses were performed stratifying by Results A total 854 men 1,505 women no identified diseases included. Women more sedentary than ( p <0.004; OR = 1,35; IC95% 1,10–1,65) presented lower values all syndrome, except HDL-cholesterol, which was higher (p<0.001). adjusted model shows that diastolic fasting glucose, significantly both (p<0.05). Background: Endometriosis, i.e., endometrial-like tissue outside the uterus, is a chronic inflammatory condition affecting physical functioning. However, specific levels of activity (PA) in context endometriosis and different disease symptoms remain unclear. Methods: This multi-center, cross-sectional study compared PA influencing factors patients non-endometriosis patients. Data were collected through questionnaires. Endometriosis was surgically confirmed. A statistical analysis performed with appropriate tests. Results: The included 460 women age-matched without this condition. two groups did not differ significantly terms age, education level, or stable partnership. Women exhibited lower levels, practicing fewer hours sports weekly climbing stairs daily to control group. These differences remained significant after controlling for confounding factors. Factors such as endometriosis, current dysmenorrhea, depression associated decreased PA. Conclusions: findings suggest that engage less those results highlight need interventions promote increased harness health benefits. Further research warranted explore underlying mechanisms develop tailored exercise therapies population.
