Abstract
Background
Self-harm
and
suicidal
ideation
are
prevalent
among
adolescents,
cause
physical
psychosocial
disability,
have
potentially
life-threatening
consequences.
Dialectical
behavioral
therapy
for
Adolescents
(DBT-A)
is
an
evidence-based
intervention
reducing
self-harm.
However,
few
studies
investigated
the
effectiveness
of
DBT-A
when
delivered
in
routine
clinical
practice.
Methods
A
follow-up
cohort
study,
based
on
data
from
a
quality
assessment
register
child
adolescent
mental
health
services
including
seven
outpatient
clinics.
Inclusion
criteria
were
ongoing
or
history
self-harming
behavior
last
6
months;
current
behavior;
at
least
3
DSM-IV
Borderline
personality
disorder
(BPD),
self-destruction
criterion
BPD,

to
minimum

Anorexia Nervosa in Polish Children and Adolescents in the Context of the COVID-19 Pandemic—An Observational Single Centre Study

Introduction:
Anorexia
nervosa
(AN)
is
a
psychiatric
disorder
with
high
mortality
rate
and
significant
prevalence
in
the
paediatric
