Ozone therapy has emerged as a promising treatment modality in dentistry due to its antimicrobial and healing properties. This systematic review aimed evaluate the recent clinical trials on ozone impact therapeutic outcomes. A comprehensive literature search was conducted across multiple databases, including Web of Science, PubMed, Scopus from January 2018 December 2024, identifying studies that investigated use dental applications. The findings demonstrated is effective improving periodontal health, soft tissue after implant surgery, reducing postoperative discomfort. combination scaling root planing with gaseous showed superior response rates. during endodontics procedures resulted reduced post-treatment pain, while ozonated materials promise management dentinal hypersensitivity. However, it not recommended restorative potential adverse effects bond strength. this supported integration into an adjunctive therapy. More research needed elucidate mechanisms, optimize application techniques, long-term outcomes for patient safety effectiveness.
