Polypyrrole (PPy)-doped bismuth calcium manganite (BCM) nanocomposites were synthesized by chemical polymerization. The amorphous nature of the polypyrrole and monoclinic crystal structure BCM particles (35–65 nm) confirmed various microstructural, X-ray powder, spectroscopy techniques. DC conductivity analysis via correlated barrier-hopping (CBH) model Mott’s variable-range hopping (MVRH) showed that exhibited ionic conduction. Activation energies, evaluated from Arrhenius plots, PPy/BCM-30 (30 wt.% BCM) had minimum value 0.09 eV, indicating maximum normal NTCR behavior, with resistance decreasing temperature. CBH described conduction process, AC measurements indicated was frequency-independent at lower frequencies but became dispersive frequency-dependent higher frequencies, conforming to Jonscher’s power law. study revealed transport electrical charge in material followed model. These results demonstrate how promising PPy/BCM are for energy storage, sensors, electronic materials.
