Background/Objectives: The aim of this study was to examine the acute effects foam rolling and traditional stretch treatments on physical performance self-perceived fatigue in youth football players. Methods: sample participants consisted 20 players from Serbia Under-17 league. Participants were randomly assigned one two groups, Foam group (age: 16.6 ± 1.5 years) or Stretch 16.9 1.0 years), with each consisting 10 participants. first measurement (I) conducted before match; then, played match, which followed by second (II), afterward, groups performed their activities. third (III) 2 h after recovery interventions, fourth (IV) 24 match. Players tested for following: linear sprints at 5 m, squat jumps (SJs), countermovement (CMJs), arm-driven (ACMJs). also completed self-assessment questionnaires (Hooper scales) perceived exertion (Borg scales). Results: A × 4 split-plot ANOVA revealed that there no differences between stretching any parameter fatigue. However, a separate within-group analysis showed achieved significantly better sprint times measurements (2 post-match, respectively) compared taken immediately Regarding parameters, reduced stress post-match. On other hand, treatment only affected parameter, Conclusions: These findings indicate although significant treatments, demonstrated certain advantages stretching. Specifically, may offer benefits enhancing subjective reducing young these conclusions should be interpreted caution, as cross-sectional involved small

Small-Sided Games are a widely used and well-researched training method in soccer, valued for their flexibility adapting to various objectives through the modification of numerous variables. However, certain areas still require further investigation. This study examined whether players’ infield positions affect performance when playing as floaters different zones. 4 min were conducted 6 vs. matches with 2 floater players goalkeepers, involving central wide an outer zones inner zone condition. The analysis focused on match metrics (e.g., outcome possession phases), running data across speed zones, technical number ball actions) tactical indicator effective space or control). Results indicate that contributed better average per phase compared players, reflected by lower scores (outer zones: 2.53 ± 1.18 3.33 0.72, zone: 2.58 1.12 2.81 1.17, mean standard deviation). Furthermore, played in, but not player position, showed significant differences terms high-speed (p < .01) sprinting behavior .05). Because from each proved be representative regular matches, findings suggest following implications: For return-to-play, athletes can start fewer high-intensity runs; position-specific should focus usual roles, while new stimuli introduced assigning unfamiliar positions.
