This research identifies the maritime industry’s key manpower recruitment criteria and uses a specialized online platform to assess impact of digital transformation. Through analysis 183 validated surveys Romanian shipbuilding ship-repair technicians using IBM SPSS Statistics, this study examines trends potential outcomes. Additionally, it highlights notable gap in recent literature on optimization within EU sectors. The findings demonstrate that digitally integrating tools—such as technical interviews, verified performance evaluations, machine-learning algorithms for candidate prioritization—could significantly enhance accuracy, transparency, efficiency. outcomes include improved efficiency, reduced bias, scalability, cost savings overall process—valuable insights European stakeholders seeking remain competitive, while addressing increasing labor demands.
