We describe a new species (Sinospelaeobdella jiangxiensissp. n.) from natural cave in southwestern Jiangxi Province, China, according to external and internal morphology COI gene sequences. S. n. is distinguishable other of Sinospelaeobdella primarily by morphological characteristics, including body length, the position fifth pair eyes first testes, number caeca, shape auricular projections. also estimate its phylogenetic within genus Sinospelaeobdella. Molecular analyses supported delimitation as separate wulingensis. Both molecular data support species, so results provide critical for determination conservation Sinospelaeobdella, enhance documented diversity this recently established genus.
