Wood blue staining is one of the most common wood defects, which commonly occurs in rubberwood and Masson pine. It not only affects appearance wood, but also its properties. In this study, from Xishuangbanna was examined. During process, blue-stain fungi endophytic were isolated identified. The antagonism biocontrol strains against studied, their inhibitory effects evaluated by inoculating on non-blue-stained rubberwood. morphology distribution observed using polarized light fluorescence microscopy, infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM–EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD). stain then evaluated. results showed that at room temperature, fungus causing identified as Lasiodiplodia theobromae, Trichoderma koningii reesei. found T. reesei more effective than inhibiting development L. theobromae. Based these findings, suggested a strain for preventing controlling

Endophytes typically coexist with plants in symbiosis and transition into the saprobic system as plant tissues senesce, participating decomposition process of litter. However, dynamic changes endophytic communities during this their role litter remain unclear. This study tracked microbial composition across from live leaves to Cinnamomum camphora (L.) Presl (C. camphora), evaluating contribution endophytes by examining diversity, community assembly, co-occurrence networks along endophyte-to-saprotroph spectrum. The results revealed increasing bacterial diversity but stable fungal endogenous microbes is mirrored saprophytic phase. Bacterial assembly was characterized deterministic processes symbiotic phase, shifted stochastic In contrast, predominantly driven throughout continuum. Out 49 keystone taxa identified, only Pseudorhodoplanes sinuspersici demonstrated a significant positive correlation assembly. All identified phase originated sources, around 80% initial stages were similarly origin. Additionally, 60% dominant 28% at commencement descent. suggests that possess potential evolve both Endogenous exhibited correlations network, indicating substantial ecological presence community. Both exerted influences on decomposition. Overall, are likely influence assemblage communities, network structure, decomposition-related functions. Specifically, it appears may greater adaptability leaf compared counterparts.

Endophytic fungi live in healthy plant tissues and organs are a major source of natural bioactive compounds. In this study, we found that an endophytic fungus, Talaromyces purpureogenus CEF642N, isolated from the cotton roots, suppressed Verticillium dahliae by up to 53% after 15 days confrontation culture. Genome sequencing CEF642N mass spectrometry study its metabolites were used identify primary antagonists. To further elucidate antagonistic mechanism, transcriptome analysis ultrastructure observation pathogen performed. The antagonists shown act on mitochondria cell membranes pathogen. addition, also had mycoparasitic effects V. dahliae. These results suggest has potential be important biocontrol agent for efficiently managing wilt, severe disease affecting cotton.
