Under the background of climate change, problems water resource allocation and desertification in arid areas are becoming increasingly prominent, which seriously threatens sustainable development society. Constructing an ecological network is important measure to improve environment maintain service function. This study takes Hexi Corridor as example relies on land use data from 2000 2020, comprehensively applies methods, such morphological spatial pattern analysis (MSPA), minimum cumulative resistance model (MCR), evaluation index construct optimize Corridor. Our results show: (1) distribution landscape elements was not uniform that foundation north poor; (2) surface “low south high north”, with low-value mainly located Jiuquan City, Zhangye Wuwei high-value were middle City City; (3) source areas, corridors, nodes showed a fluctuating upward trend, they southwest (4) closure (α), line point rate (β), connectivity (γ) W-shaped change trend; (5) after optimization, 22 new 78 61 added, result, α, β, γ indices all increased. provide reference for restoration research serve regionally balanced means sustainably developing

Ecological restoration holds great significance in addressing environmental degradation and rock desertification karst areas. Zoning strategy is a fundamental task understanding the interrelationship between human-environment to foster sustainable development. We explore “social-ecological” system conduct case study on region Guangdong Province, China. An evaluation framework consists of “development pressure”, “sensitivity status”, “resilience potential” was established. The results show that: regions with high pressure development are predominantly located high-density urban generally distribution comprehensive status index exhibits significant spatial heterogeneity. Regions low sensitivity found eastern western sides area. resilience values largely influenced by per capita energy-saving protection expenditures. zones mainly concentrated contiguous northwestern southern parts, covering more than half total conservation numerous primarily situated northern parts. By integrating socio-economic ecological factors, this proposes strategies for specific zones. It helps improve issues arising from complex interactions human-environment, facilitating implementation practices.

Over the past two decades, due to combined effects of natural and human factors, ecological environment resources Qinghai–Tibet Plateau (QTP) have faced serious threats, profoundly impacting its ecosystem lives residents. Therefore, establishment security pattern (ESP) is crucial cope with climate change, maintain function, sustainable development. Based on Pressure–State–Response (PSR) model, this study constructed an evaluation index system for (ES) QTP, evaluated ES QTP during 2000–2020, predicted 2025–2035 based deep learning model. Combined residents’ perception ES, was comprehensively. The results showed that: (1) From 2000 2020, value continued rise, number dangerous sensitive counties decreased, other increased. overall spatial distribution features higher values in southeast lower northwest central regions. (2) both hot spots cold mainly concentrated represented by Yunnan Province, shifting from west east, Qinghai Province. (3) Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) model demonstrates high prediction accuracy. LSTM, will continue rise 2025 2035, safe reach highest level history. still (4) By analyzing 25 potential factors that may affect show residents generally believe these important impact their between “important” “very important”. In addition, there a significant correlation ES. help improve our understanding provide accurate positioning reasonable government formulate relevant protection strategies, lay methodological practical foundation development QTP.

The long-term interplay between rural handicraft industries and village development has resulted in imbalances such as the disorder of living spaces, misalignment production ecological space disruptions. Comprehensively analyzing landscape elements actively maintaining their coordinated are keys to transformation villages. This study firstly introduces theory genes concept “Production–Living–Ecology Spaces” (PLESs) then constructs identification system PLES genes. starts from three dimensions production, life, ecology spaces village, identifies that have been passed down generation generation, realizes a comprehensive interpretation Using YaoTou Village Shaanxi Province case study, this illustrates its characteristics, based on genetic form genes, using G1-FCE method collect evaluation data both tourists residents. These help identify status propose targeted inheritance mechanisms. results enable ecological, villages, evaluating carry out modern innovative transformation. will provide reference for identifying preserving more villages contribute revitalization.

Assessment of water resources carrying capacity (WRCC) is great significance for understanding the status regional resources, promoting coordinated development with environmental, social and economic development, sustainable development. This study focuses on Longdong Loess Plateau region utilized panel data spanning from 2010 to 2020, established a three-dimensional evaluation index system encompassing economic, ecological dimensions, uses entropy-weighted TOPSIS model coupled global spatial autocorrelation analysis (Global Moran’s I) hot spot (Getis-Ord Gi* index) method comprehensively evaluate distribution WRCC in region. It can provide scientific basis theoretical support decision-making strategies other regions world. From overall area show some fluctuations but maintained growth. The each county district predominantly fell within level III (normal) IV (good). featured by clustering pattern, neighboring counties displaying similar values, resulting pattern characterized high south low north. Based these findings, our puts forth several recommendations enhancing area.
