Bisphenol A (BPA), commonly used as a plasticizer in various branches of industry has strong negative effect on living organisms. Therefore, more and often it is replaced production plastics by other substances. One them bisphenol S (BPS). This study for the first time compares impact BPA BPS enteric neurons using double immunofluorescence technique. It been shown that both affect number containing substance P (SP), galanin (GAL), vasoactive intestinal polypeptide (VIP), neuronal isoform nitric oxide synthase (nNOS-a marker nitrergic neurons) and/or vesicular acetylcholine transporter (VAChT- cholinergic neurons). The changes noted under bisphenols are similar consisted an increase immunoreactive to all factors studied. some populations was stronger than influence BPA. obtained results clearly show (similarly BPA) administered long not neutral even relatively low doses may be potent certain populations.

Bisphenol A (BPA) is a phenolic compound used in plastics elaboration for food protection or packaging. BPA-monomers can be released into the chain, resulting continuous and ubiquitous low-dose human exposure. This exposure during prenatal development especially critical could lead to alterations ontogeny of tissues increasing risk developing diseases adulthood. The aim was evaluate whether BPA administration (0.036 mg/kg b.w./day 3.42 b.w./day) pregnant rats induce liver injury by generating oxidative stress, inflammation apoptosis, these effects may observed female postnatal day-6 (PND6) offspring. Antioxidant enzymes (CAT, SOD, GR, GPx GST), glutathione system (GSH/GSSG) lipid-DNA damage markers (MDA, LPO, NO, 8-OHdG) were measured using colorimetric methods. Inducers stress (HO-1d, iNOS, eNOS), (IL-1β) apoptosis (AIF, BAX, Bcl-2 BCL-XL) qRT-PCR Western blotting lactating dams Hepatic serum histology performed. Low dose caused had perinatal effect PND6 offspring levels, triggering an inflammatory response pathways organ responsible detoxification this endocrine disruptor.

The presence of microplastics in cosmetics and personal care products (C&PCPs) has been increasingly the public eye since early 2010s. Despite increasing research into potential environmental health effects microplastics, most to date on C&PCPs investigated "rinse-off" products, while impacts "leave-on" have largely neglected, despite these being purchased greater volumes often having two or more microplastic ingredients their formulations(CosmeticsEurope, 2018b). This review aims synthesize current knowledge C&PCPs, assessing human discussing regulatory implications. lack studies leave-on is significant, suggesting a severe gap regarding in, emissions from, C&PCPs. There noticeable (eco)toxicological consequences exposure from As result, significant aspects contamination may be overlooked legislations emerging globally (including European Commission), which intend restrict use but focus rinse-off only. highlights for decision-making, particularly as alternatives are considered during phase-out periods spotlights need sufficient monitoring alternatives, avoid unforeseen consequences.

Humans are exposed to micro and nanoplastics (MNPLs) through inhalation, ingestion and, a lesser extent, dermal contact. In recent years, new insights indicate the potential of MNPLs cause damages human health. Particle toxicity can include oxidative stress, inflammatory lesions, then increased internalization or translocation tissues. On other hand, plastic additives used in particles, once internalized, release toxic substances. It is noteworthy that effects encompass wide range polymers chemical additives, showing various physicochemical toxicological properties, size, shape surface properties variables influencing their effects. spite research carried out recently, its early stages, further investigation required. this review article, knowledge exposure routes results on health presented discussed. Bisphenol F (BPF), an alternative to bisphenol A has been implicated as a gonadotoxic substance. BPF shown induce hormonal imbalance and testicular oxidative damage. However, the mechanism associated with BPF-induced toxicity not fully explored. This study was designed explore role of tumor protein (p53)/ B-cell lymphoma 2 (BCl-2) signaling oestrogen receptor beta (Erβ) in toxicity.Male Wistar rats were randomized into control (Cntrl), BPF-treated (10, 30, 50 mg/kg for low dose (BPF-L), medium (BPF-M), high (BPF-H) respectively), recovery (Cntrl-R, BPF-L-R, BPF-M-R, BPF-H-R). The administration via gavage lasted 28 days animals groups allowed 28-days exposure free period from exposure.BPF resulted distortion histoarchitecture, which accompanied by significant rise gamma-lutamyl transferase lactate dehydrogenase activities but decline sorbitol activities. Also, caused reduction plasma gonadotropin-releasing hormone, luteinising follicle-stimulating testosterone, downregulation 3beta-hydroxysteroid 17beta-hydroxysteroid Furthermore, induced inflammation, redox imbalance, apoptosis, p53/BCl-2 overexpression Erβ. Again, observed toxic effects dose-dependent completely reversed cessation.Bisphenol gonadotoxicity distorting p53/BCl2 expression These alterations after cessation exposure.

The Mn–Co dual-metal oxide is recognized as an effective activator for peroxymonosulfate (PMS), but its activation mechanism remains controversial. In this study, a Co/Mn–C–N (CMCN) nanocatalyst was synthesized using simple pyrolysis method, and catalytic activity along with the PMS comprehensively explored. findings indicated that synergistic effect of Mn Co within bimetallic composition significantly enhanced efficiency CMCN compared to those individual metal oxides (Mn–C–N Co–C–N). Bisphenol A underwent successful degradation 3 min in neutral environment, kinetic rate 1.59 min–1 total organic carbon removal 63.8%. Moreover, nanoparticles demonstrated remarkable stability reusability, maintaining their efficacy over four cycles. Employing series experiments analytical characterizations, novel proposed, involving both radical nonradical pathways. This involves oxidation pollutants through direct electron transfer process from metastable intermediate complexes. Notably, CMCN/PMS system exhibited robust resistance interference factors. research provides insights into development composites recalcitrant water pollutants.

This study investigated the effect of BPF on male sexual performance and quality offspring. Eighty (80) Male Wistar rats (n = 10 per group) were randomised into normal saline-treated control recovery, varied doses (low, medium, high), recovery high) groups. The was terminated after 28 days oral administration. animals sacrificed 24 h from last dose, while those in groups allowed to recover for another before being sacrificed. administration found impair performance, as shown by a significant decrease frequencies (mount, intromission, ejaculation frequencies) an increase latencies latencies). accompanied plasma LH, FSH, testosterone, dopamine, acetylcholinesterase, nitric oxide, penile cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) level. level oestrogen prolactin significantly increased following also reduced sperm count, morphology, viability, motility. Furthermore, fertility success index, litter size, weight, offspring survival rate. These toxic effects dose-dependent not reversed withdrawal recovery. concluded that disrupts competence suppressing hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis mediating oestrogen-induced hyperprolactinemia. events associated with index success, poor semen quality, observed cessation exposure.
