The Jiani yak is a nationally renowned species that known for its meat which rich in various minerals, amino acids, and proteins. rumen microbiota plays critical role gastrointestinal health feed degradation, contributing proteins, lipids, volatile fatty acids (VFAs) essential milk production. However, there limited knowledge about the of free-ranging yaks, especially those with 15 ribs. Rumen fluid samples were collected from yaks 14 (PL) ribs (DL) slaughterhouse County, China. total DNA microorganisms was extracted sequencing. Our results revealed 643,713 656,346 raw sequences DL PL animals, respectively, 611,934 622,814 filtered these two groups.
