Unproperly treated industrial waste creates serious environmental pollution that requires immediate remediation strategies. Non-woven polyester fabrics are widely used in a variety of applications; thus, their debris becomes major portion waste. To contribute to advanced treatment processes, this study investigated catalytic thermal non-woven fabric on novel ultrahigh-porosity MgO material under CO2 environment. The was synthesized from hydromagnesite via series reactions, having surface area 208.8 m2 g−1, total pore volume 0.34 cm3 and average diameter 2.37 nm. Using the as catalyst for thermolysis promoted cracking volatilized species evolved thermolysis, thereby increasing gas product yield decreasing liquid wax yields. In addition, dehydrogenation reverse water reaction by catalyst, leading more than higher syngas production (up 16.1 wt% yield) compared non-catalytic 8 yield). selectivity toward esters increased, while selectivities benzoic phthalic acids were decreased, most likely due promoting decarboxylation esterification reactions during thermolysis. Moreover, reusable at least two consecutive cycles. It is hoped applicability widened processes minimize negative effects wastes

Estuaries can behave as plastic pollution hotspots, although the dynamics of accumulation in these unique habitats are not understood. We quantified current levels meso-, micro-, and nanoplastic four Los Angeles County estuaries for first time, a function distance from water outlet local population density. Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) microscope imaging revealed presence six types plastic; polyethylene or polypropylene dominated meso- microplastic, nanoplastics were identified mainly polyolefin fibers. The distribution was heterogeneous throughout, sand between river mouth ocean generally contained more than inland control samples. Population density did appear to affect abundance estuarine pollution. Other factors, such waste treatment effluent, recreation, geography, may contribute deposition. A positive correlation microplastic provides insight into mechanisms accumulation.
