Nanothermites have attracted great attention over the last two decades for their superior performance in heat release and pressure wave generation. The shape of oxidizer assembly structure could significantly influence performance. This paper reports on reactivity, sensitivity combustion nanothermite aluminum nanoparticles MoO3 nanostrips prepared via electrospray strategy. resulting particles were good integrity, resembling bird nests. There exothermic processes composites, which successively conformed to Avrami–Erofeev equation n = 4 Zhuravlev–Lesokhin–Tempelman (Z-L-T) equation. And corresponding activation energies 148.645 kJ/mol 297.280 kJ/mol, respectively. flame impact electrosprayed product 50 cm 35 cm, respectively, both higher than those mechanically mixed counterpart. constant-volume test showed that maximum was 1.96 MPa, 0.69 MPa performances evaluated under confined unconfined conditions. Due fast transfer efficiency, fierce deflagration achieved case sample rate conditions almost a hundred times as much one.
