With the increasing requirements of agricultural machinery, study contact relationship between tire–soil interface and improvement traction efficiency has gradually become a main concern. In this study, pattern on tire was simplified into single-pitch blocks. The blocks were made rubber material that highly resistant to abrasion bending. experiment carried out by pressing three types patterned block construction soil pure sliding under soil. simulation used Coupled Eulerian–Lagrangian Method (CEL) verify experimental results. We found herringbone subjected highest stress for same depth downward pressure. horizontal force generated also highest. results showed numerically simulated experimentally measured data exhibited similar trends average values. addition, increase in area reduced compaction sinking structure not only had large but produced most significant shear Thus, it may generate greater actual operations.
