Macroalgae with nontoxicity, biodegradability and biocompatibility has attracted more attentions as a sustainable alternative towards petroleum-derived plastics. However, brittleness high affinity water limited marine-based macroalgae films to be widely used. Thus, this paper aims compare the roles of calcium chloride ionic cross-linker acrylic resin covalent in agar-PEG plasticised biofilm composite. Agar composite PEG 1000 40% were cross-linked i) 1, 2, 3 4 (CaCl2/agar) wt/wt % at 2 or min immersion time, ii) 10, 20, 30, 40 50 (acrylic resin/agar) %. FTIR TGA proved that CaCl2 managed cross-link ionically covalently respectively. In general, produced highest than resin. Highest tensile strength, modulus lowest elongation break was achieved when CaCl2. Abstract The rising incidence of chronic diseases has spurred interest in functional foods rich antioxidants and essential nutrients, as well exploring their potential cytotoxic activity against cancer cells. Analysis included total protein content, amino acid profiles, mineral compositions, fatty B vitamin contents, polyphenol carotenoid antioxidant activities (DPPH˙ ABTS + assays), activities. exhibited higher content (64.63%) compared (58.24%). Spirulina showed concentrations non-essential acids, except for methionine.
