High Fischer ratio oligopeptides (HFOs) have a variety of biological activities, but their mechanisms action for anti-fatigue are less systematically studied at present. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy HFOs from Antarctic krill (HFOs-AK) and explore its mechanism through establishing fatigue model endurance swimming in mice. Therefore, according comparison with group, HFOs-AK were able dose-dependently prolong time, reduce levels metabolites (lactic acid, blood urea nitrogen, ammonia), increase content glucose, muscle glycogen, liver lactate dehydrogenase creatine kinase extravasation, protect tissue damage shown enhance Na+-K+-ATPase Ca2+-Mg2+-ATPase activities ATP tissue. Meanwhile, also showed significantly antioxidant ability by increasing superoxide dismutase glutathione peroxidase decreasing level malondialdehyde. Further studies that could regulate body’s energy metabolism thus exert effects activating AMPK signaling pathway up-regulating expression p-AMPK PGC-α proteins. can be used as an auxiliary functional dietary molecules good activity applied foods.

This study aimed to establish the preparation process of peptide–calcium chelates (TMP-Ca) using skipjack tuna meat and investigate function mechanism TMP-Ca in an osteoporosis model rats. The results indicated that trypsin is more suitable for preparing Ca-chelating hydrolysates meat, optimal hydrolysis conditions were derived as follows: digestion time 4 h, material–liquid ratio 1:10, enzyme dose 3%. chelating Ca with hydrolysate optimized be chelation 50 min, temperature °C, pH 8.0, a peptide–Ca 1:10. prepared was subjected ultrafiltration, fraction (TMP) (MW <1 kDa) showed highest rate (51.27 ± 1.42%) made into (TMP-Ca). In osteoporotic rats, significantly improved decrease ovarian indexes caused by retinoic acid. It also elevated serum Ca, phosphorus, bone turnover indexes, increased number trabeculae, microstructure. addition, we confirmed could regulate OPG/TRAF6 pathway reduce osteoclast differentiation, inhibit resorption, promote formation. Therefore, ameliorate osteoporosis, this provides functional component healthcare products treat osteoporosis.

Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) affect the quality of life or are fatal in worst cases, resulting a significant economic and social burden. Therefore, there is an urgent need to invent functional products drugs for improving patient health alleviating controlling these diseases. Marine bioactive peptides reduce control CVDs. Many predisposing factors triggering CVDs can be alleviated by consuming foods containing marine biopeptides. CVD incidence through use effective biopeptide from sources has attracted increasing interest attention. This review reports information on derived various organisms, focusing process separation, purification, identification biological peptides, characteristics, food promoting cardiovascular health. Increasing evidence shows that bioactivity safety significantly impact their storage, processing. It feasible develop further strategies involving treat testing methods. Future work should focus producing high-quality applying them drug industry.

Abstract Background and Objectives To optimize the utilization of rice by‐products, bran protein hydrolysate (RBPH) was subjected to a process separation purification using ultrafiltration reversed‐phase high‐performance liquid chromatography (RP‐HPLC). Subsequently, identification peptide sequences carried out mass spectrometer hybrid quadrupole‐time‐of‐flight nontargeted metabolomic profiling done UHPLC‐QTOF‐IMS identify antioxidant antihypertensive amino acids. Findings Three novel bioactive peptides, namely, STCCK, FMKSK, KICILVFTLTTC, were identified within RBPH through enzymatic digestion alcalase, pepsin, trypsin. These peptides showed significant activity angiotensin‐converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory activity. Molecular docking analyses elucidated various interaction mechanisms between these ACE receptor protein, including hydrogen bonding hydrophobic interactions. This suggested that effectively suppress by forming bonds with active pockets human high affinity. Conclusion In summary, derived from exhibited distinguished properties, underscoring their potential for valuable in addressing by‐products. Significance Novelty The study advances scientific knowledge offers practical solutions health improvement sustainable agriculture.
