Marine sponges are noteworthy sources of bioactive secondary metabolites that demonstrate fundamental functions in defense mechanisms and ecological interactions. This study focused on the extraction characterization from two sponge species, Echinodictyum asperum Callyspongia siphonella, obtained Red Sea coast Saudi Arabia. Methanol generated EAE CSE extracts, which were subjected to metabolic profiling, illuminating 44 identified involving fatty acids, sterols, terpenoids, long-chain amides, alkaloids. The cytotoxic effects both assessed versus MDA-MB-231 MCF-7 breast cancer cell lines, utilizing sulforhodamine B (SRB) assay, with IC50 values about 2.7 μg/mL for 0.5 cells 8.7 45.3 cells. Flow cytometry analysis indicated extracts induced apoptosis necrosis across lines. Particularly, G2 phase arrest cells, while elevated S population As well, boosted autophagy especially Comparative analyses existing literature underscore therapeutic potential these sponge-derived medication. Molecular docking studies demonstrated robust binding affinities between selected key targets MCL-1, BCL-2, ERα. In conclusion, this research emphasizes significant features proposing their purposes treatment via distinct action.

The most common oncogenic driver in non‑small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene mutations, which are more Asian (30‑50%) than Caucasian (10‑15%) populations. Exon 19 deletion (ex19del) and exon 21 L858R (ex21 L858R) mutations account for ~45 40% of all EGFR respectively. Moreover, EGFR‑tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) may be effective improve the quality life patients with NSCLC chemotherapy regimens. By contrast, ex21 mutation have a lower sensitivity duration response to EGFR‑TKIs as well shorter survival compared those ex19del mutation. However, current guidelines classify same condition recommend treatment strategy both. Aiming precision medicine, present review introduces compares different assess personalized options population this
