Contaminants of Emerging Concern (CECs) are human-made chemicals that remain unregulated. The continuous detection CECs in aquatic ecosystems, due to their incomplete removal, emphasizes the importance understanding fate and impact on environment human health. detrimental effects marine eukaryotes well documented multiple studies. However, bacteria biodegradation by these organisms not understood. In this study, two bacteria, Priestia sp 35 ODPABA G14 Rhodococcus 23 AHTN G14, previously isolated from submarine sediments, were used. These strains tested for resistance as capacity degrade different classes hydrophobic hydrophilic CECs, including synthetic musks, UV filters, pesticides pharmaceuticals. Both showed high all even up 500 mg L−1. Only Ketoprofen was toxic bacterial cells, particularly sp. starting at concentration low 4 Furthermore, exhibited potential, especially compounds. Although may apply pollutants, data presented study suggest a positive correlation between potentials.

Background Nonylphenol (NP) is widely recognized as a crucial environmental endocrine-disrupting chemical and persistent toxic substance. The remediation of NP-contaminated sites primarily relies on biological degradation. Compound microbial products, opposed to pure strains, possess greater variety metabolic pathways can thrive in wider range conditions. This characteristic believed facilitate the synergistic degradation pollutants. Limited research has been conducted thoroughly examine potential compatibility compound agents with indigenous microflora, their ability function effectively practical environments, capacity enhance dissipation NP, improve soil physicochemical characteristics. Methods In order efficiently eliminate NP contaminated an eco-friendly manner, simulation study was investigate impact bioaugmentation using functional agent NP-M2 at varying concentrations (50 200 mg/L) dynamics community. treatments were set follows: sterilized 50 mg/kg (CK50) or (CK200); non-sterilized (TU50) (TU200); (J50) (J200). The consumption of packaged water is growing rapidly in both urban and rural centres Burkina Faso. Bisphenol A (BPA) trace metals are among the compounds used manufacture plastic packaging, their presence can pose a health risk to consumers due alleged toxicity. Therefore, this study explores transfer these from packaging mineral Sudano-Sahelian climatic conditions. Ten samples sachet commercialised Ouagadougou were studied. Bisphenol A (BPA) is an important monomer in the production of polycarbonate plastic and its derivatives. The daily widespread use BPA-containing products has led to wide distribution as a contaminant xenobiotic water, soil, atmosphere. Its impact associated with disruptions endocrine, nervous, immune, reproductive systems. Currently, methods for effective removal BPA from environment are actively being researched, including through enzymatic activity microorganisms. Literature provides numerous data on effects dissolved xenobiotics microbial viability, but there lack information solid powdered BPA. For prolonged destructive compound was noted, evidenced by increase up 168 into experiment. In contrast, no definitive pattern observed – maximum inhibition 48 hours, significant differences noted thereafter. introduction all concentrations, particularly 7.5 mg/mL liquid nutrient media, promotes microorganisms increases content total protein peroxidase.
