Motilin is a gastrointestinal hormone that mainly produced in the duodenum of mammals, and it responsible for regulating appetite. However, role expression motilin are poorly understood during starvation weaning stage, which great importance seeding cultivation fish. In this study, sequences Yangtze sturgeon (Acipenser dabryanus (AdMotilin)) receptor (AdMotilinR) were cloned characterized. The results tissue showed by contrast with AdMotilin mRNA was richly expressed brain, whereas AdMotilinR highly stomach, duodenum, brain. Weaning from natural diet T. Limnodrilus to commercial feed significantly promoted brain period day 1 10, after re-feeding change partially reversed. Similarly, revealed fasting increased (3 h, 6 h) h), (1 time-dependent manner. Furthermore, observed peripheral injection motilin-NH2 food intake filling index digestive tract sturgeon, accompanied changes appetite factors (POMC, CART, AGRP, NPY CCK) stomach (CCK). These indicate acts as an indicator nutritional status, also serves novel orexigenic factor stimulates Acipenser dabryanus. This study lays strong foundation application biomarker estimation hunger juvenile dabryanu phase, enhances understanding regulator feeding
