Polyphosphate, which can improve crop yield and phosphorus use efficiency in calcareous soils, has gained increasing global attention. However, the effects of polyphosphate properties (pH polymerization degree) on agronomic are still unclear. In this study, nutrient solubility, release, uptake, maize growth soil alkaline diammonium phosphate (DAP), acidic ammonium (APP) with a degree 1.8, potassium tripolyphosphate (KTPP) higher 2.8 were evaluated. The results showed that KTPP at pH 8.0 could significantly increase solubility Ca2+ by 24.3 times 3.1 than those DAP APP, respectively, Mg2+ 172.8 1.6 respectively. release experiment indicated 100% P was released after 15 d for three fertilizers, cumulative amounts soluble Ca Mg about 2.9 3.2 DAP, result pot demonstrated enhanced shoot biomass 24.1% compared DAP. P, Ca, uptake shoots improved 49.7%, 20.9%, to no significant differences or between APP treatments observed. This study had better effect cations, yield, application provides synergistic interaction soil, may promote fertilizers expand large-scale agriculture.
