Abstract: The increasing population has subjected rivers and streams to high levels of both industrial domestic pollution. Significant environmental challenges have been brought about by their effects, particularly with regard biota, ecosystem processes, soil quality, groundwater This study examined the effects human activity applying pollution index models evaluate input toxic elements in river sediments. Prior sediment quality analysis, total amount arsenic (As), lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), thorium (Th), uranium (U) was determined concentration range 1.09–10.0 mg/kg, 8.53–475 0.12–0.16 4.85–77.5 3.14–5.9 mg/kg 0.93–2.86 respectively. enrichment factor, contamination load index, geo-accumulation revealed alarmingly Pb Hg at some sampling points, which are related possible input, ranging from severe considerable contamination. low ranges indices suggest through natural weathering process atmospheric deposition. Pearson correlation coefficient a significant between Pb-Fe As-Fe, suggesting possibility acid mine Continual monitoring is essential minimize impact sustain health quality.

The global issue of water quality degradation that exacerbates scarcity prompted establishment strategic management systems. majority anthropogenic activities affect are indispensable and economical. Despite its importance for achieving economic expansion, prosperity, advancement on a national international scale, industrialization is primary cause adverse environmental effects. There significant strain rivers dams from chemical spills, fertilizers pesticides, personal hygiene products, wastewater discharge, land drainage due to lack proper treatment infrastructures or wilful illegal disposal. developing era scientific research focused effective technologies water-pollution monitoring. This study interested in exploration forensics using forensic-analytical techniques such as aerial photography, satellite analytics, chemometric spectroscopic identify sources pollutants. approach great connecting the identified pollutants their emission order provide efficient long-term strategies holistic system. this can improve comprehension pollution will assist departments policy makers charge control geographical locations ensure polluters abide by applicable laws.
