In order to enhance the therapeutic value of curcumin in liver cancer treatment, glycyrrhetinic acid-modified pH-sensitive liposomes (GA-pH-Lip@Cur) was developed.GA-pH-Lip@Cur prepared using a thin film dispersion ultrasonication method, and optimal formulation process selected through single-factor experiments Box-Behnken design-response surface methodology. The were evaluated for their morphological appearance, particle size, vitro release at different pH levels, biocompatibility. anti-tumor effect GA-pH-Lip@Cur assessed cell viability assays (CCK-8). vivo hepatic targeting anti-liver tumor efficacy pharmacokinetic pharmacological experiments. The results indicated that optimized exhibited uniform size distribution, good stability, with sustained behavior. Compared conventional liposomes, showed prolonged average retention time significantly increased distribution tissues, indicating excellent targeting. Both evaluations demonstrated effectiveness inhibiting proliferation suppressing growth tumor-bearing mice. conclusion, GA-pH-Lip@Cur, by leveraging acidic microenvironment overexpression acid receptors cells, encapsulates improve its bioavailability, target delivery sites.

Owing to high efficacy and safety, natural medicines have found their way into the field of cancer therapy over past few decades. However, effective ingredients shortcomings poor solubility low bioavailability. Nanoparticles can not only solve problems above but also outstanding targeting ability. Targeting preparations be classified three levels, which are target tissues, cells, organelles. On premise clarifying therapeutic purpose drugs, one or more methods selected achieve accurate drug delivery consequently improve anti-tumor effects drugs reduce toxicity side effects. The aim this review is summarize research status medicines’ nano-preparations in tumor-targeting therapies provide some references for further treatments.

Sloanea is a plant genus, native to tropical regions, used in medicinal practices for its anti-inflammatory properties. This study aimed determine the antioxidant activity, sun protective factor (SPF), and antifungal of extracts obtained from two species develop extract-based gels with antioxidants, photoprotective, anti-Candida albicans effects. Ethanolic S. medusula calva collected Chocó, Colombia, were activity SPF determination using DPPH assay Mansur equation, respectively. Extracts characterized HPLC-MS prepare gels. The viscosity was evaluated an MCR92 rheometer. In addition, against five yeasts anti-C. following Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute M27, 4th Edition. High radical scavenging (42.4% 44.7%) high value (32.5 35.4) calva, Similarly, showed significant 54.5% 53.0% maximum values 60 57. Extract important C.
