Medicinal plants produce vital secondary metabolites in curing various diseases and pathological conditions. There are multiple tribes communities where people using from the medicinal aspect to cure different diseases. The aim of present study was qualitative quantitative phytochemical screening, determination total phenol flavonoid content, free radical scavenging activity parts ethnomedicinally used collected western region Nepal. screening most extract showed presence phenols, carbohydrates, flavonoids, glycosides. ethanolic flower Callicarpa macrophylla a higher phenolic content with value 195 ± 7.33 µg GAE/mg. Ethyl acetate Elephantopus scaber root revealed highest amount 1692.31 34.79 QE/mg extract, followed by macrophylla. Ethanolic potent DPPH half inhibitory concentration 7.28 µg/ml. In contrast, ethyl maximum extreme properties among all extracts. From experiment, potential comparable ascorbic acid. This may be attributed phenols extract. result signifies that acts as an antioxidant contain bioactive compound which, further investigation, lead novel compound.
