Ginseng has multi-directional pharmacological properties. Some data suggest that ginseng can enhance physical endurance, which, in turn, leads to protection of the cardiovascular system. However, not all experiments are conclusive. For this reason, main aim research was perform a meta-analysis and review studies published between years 2013 2023 concerning effect on performance animal human models. Medline, Pubmed, ClinicalKey electronic databases were used analyze data. The search strategy included following criteria: exercise; supplementation; supplements. results supplementation may have positive CK levels studies. Similar observations stated relation serum lactate BUN. Furthermore, study showed significant increase exercise time exhaustion VO2 max after supplementation. literature conducted identified endurance. Due fact most current based models, further models is needed identify effective dosage or form applied be supportive element CVD management.

It considered a food consisting source precious medicinal herbs, whose chemical composition relatively rich. and its extracted fractions have been shown to neuroprotective effects. P -hydroxybenzaldehyde ( p -HBA), as one main active components , has anti-inflammatory, antioxidative stress, cerebral protective effects, which potential for treatment Alzheimer’s disease (AD). The aim this study was verify role -HBA in AD investigate mechanism action depth based using Caenorhabditis elegans C. ) model. Methods In study, we used paralysis, lifespan, behavioral antistress experiments effects on aging. Furthermore, performed reactive oxygen species (ROS) assay, thioflavin S staining, RNA-seq analysis, qPCR validation, PCR Array, GFP reporter gene worm experiment determine anti-AD -HBA, well in-depth studies mechanisms. Results able delay improve mobility resistance aging nematode Further mechanistic showed that ROS lipofuscin levels, Aβ aggregation, toxicity were reduced after treatment, suggesting ameliorated Aβ-induced by enhancing antioxidant anti-aging activity inhibiting aggregation. had therapeutic effect improving stress resistance, indicated down-regulation NLP-29 UCR-11 expression up-regulation PQN-75 LYS-3 expression. addition, microarray played positive genes related AD, anti-aging, ribosomal protein pathway, glucose metabolism, collectively involved -HBA. Finally, also found promoted nuclear localization DAF-16 increased SKN-1, SOD-3, GST-4, contributed significantly inhibition enhancement stress. Abstract: Allergic rhinitis (AR) is a prevalent allergic disease that imposes significant economic burdens and life pressures on individuals, families, society, particularly in the context of accelerating globalization increasing pathogenic factors. Current clinical therapies for AR include antihistamines, glucocorticoids administered via various routes, leukotriene receptor antagonists, immunotherapy, several decongestants. These treatments have demonstrated efficacy alleviating symptoms pathological states. However, with growing awareness rising expectations improvements quality life, these become associated higher incidence side effects an elevated risk drug resistance. Furthermore, development intricately dysregulation immune system, yet underlying pathogenetic mechanisms remain incompletely understood. In contrast, widely available natural plant molecules offer multiple targeting pathways uniquely modify typical pathophysiology through immunomodulatory processes. This review presents comprehensive analysis both vivo vitro studies modulate immunity treating AR. Additionally, we examine their specific action animal models to provide new insights developing safe effective targeted while guiding experimental applications against Keywords: molecules, rhinitis, immunomodulation, therapeutic mechanism, research progress

Vascular dementia (VD) is a neurodegenerative disease caused by chronic cerebral hypoperfusion (CCH), which considerably impact patients' quality of life. Ethanol extraction from Rubia yunnanensis (RY-A) has gained attention for its potential neuroprotective effects, but effects and mechanisms action on CCH are unknown. After 30 days RY-A gavage treatment in rat model, were evaluated using the Morris water maze test, blood flow measurements, HE staining brain. These findings, combined with serum medicinal chemistry, RNA-seq, metabolomics analyses, revealed active compounds rats. The results further validated assay kits Western blot techniques. significantly attenuated neurological damage improved cognitive function Ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography high-resolution mass spectrometry identified 511 blood-entry RY-A. RNA-seq metabolomic analysis showed that might help to normalize changes gene metabolite expression CCH. induced increasing production key proteins involved ferroptosis inhibition, such as SLC7A11, SLC3A2, GSS, GPX4, while antioxidant enzyme activities alleviating oxidative stress. inhibited stress activating System Xc-/GSH/GPX4 pathway balancing iron metabolism, thereby attenuating CCH-induced deficits.

TBI's intricate pathophysiology, which includes oxidative stress, neuroinflammation, apoptosis, and mechanical injury, makes it a serious public health concern. Although stabilization secondary damage management are the main goals of current treatments, their efficacy is still restricted. The potential for improving patient outcomes by combining phytochemicals with traditional medicines examined in this review. study neuroprotective qualities ginsenosides, ginkgolides, resveratrol, curcumin as well antioxidant anti-inflammatory activities. Analysis was done on molecular pathways medication delivery techniques to improve translational drug availability clinical practice. Phytochemical substances directly influence TBI-related neurogenic functional restoration while also affecting subsequent neural processes. Particle-based medicine platforms enhance therapeutic efficacy, emerging innovative solutions targeted delivery. When medical therapies integrate phytochemicals, becomes possible achieve better results through enhanced synergy. This review uniquely integrates standard TBI emphasizing advanced strategies neuroprotection outcomes. Unlike previous studies, explores novel platforms, such nanoparticle-based systems, highlights synergy between conventional recovery.
