Beta-blockers are pharmaceuticals used to treat cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, angina pectoris, and arrhythmia. Due high consumption, they continuously released into the environment, being detected in many aqueous matrices. The aim of this research is test effectiveness two green liquid-phase microextraction procedures, dispersive liquid-liquid (DLLME) solidification floating organic droplet (SFOME) for selective extraction eight beta-blockers (atenolol, nadolol, pindolol, acebutolol, metoprolol, bisoprolol, propranolol, betaxolol) from matrices their analysis by gas chromatography (GC) or liquid (LC). influence parameters, type volume disperser solvents, ionic strength were studied. developed procedures provide a good enrichment factor six compounds (61.22-243.97), recovery (53.04-92.1%), sample cleaning both procedures. Good limits detection (0.13 0.69 µg/mL GC 0.07 0.15 HPLC) quantification (0.39 2.10 0.20 0.45 LC) obtained. successfully applied selected wastewater samples, proving applicability real samples.

Dietary supplements typically contain either natural products or synthetic chemicals. While botanical dietary are often thought to be more and safer, they could still potentially harmful ingredients. Despite the detection of sex hormones in plants soil, it is worth examining if made from them. In this study, simultaneous determination 14 kinds was conducted by high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS). A suitable sample pretreatment method expected extract purify a single step when detected HPLC-MS/MS, enabling directly injected into instrument. Herein, supramolecular solvent (SUPRAS), composed n-hexanol, tetrahydrofuran (THF), water, employed supplements. The effect various parameters, including composition solvents, their dosage, vortex time, on extraction efficiency investigated. results demonstrated that compounds exhibited excellent linearity over concentration range 0.5-100 µg·L-1, with coefficients exceeding 0.99. Recoveries were assessed at three levels using spiked samples, ranging 75.6% 115.8%, relative standard deviations between 0.8% 9.7%. This successfully applied determine Progesterone one 64 µg·kg-1. Abstract The continuous advancements in agricultural and industrial practices for food production have highlighted the need innovative analytical strategies to evaluate increasingly complex matrices. Due this complexity, direct analysis of samples using conventional instrumentation is often not feasible, necessitating a preliminary sample preparation step. Both miniaturized methods been developed address challenges posed by these These approaches enable researchers preconcentrate analytes eliminate interfering compounds, thereby providing clearer more accurate assessment components present sources. While techniques are typically classified separately, each offers unique advantages drawbacks that must be considered when selecting most suitable method analysis. Therefore, article reviews recent developments applications both techniques, highlighting their potential as evaluating diverse

Strigolactones (SLs) are key hormones regulating branching and tillering in rice, impacting plant architecture yield. A rapid, sensitive, environmentally friendly method using dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction based on the solidification of floating organic droplets (DLLME-SFO), coupled with ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-MS/MS), has been developed for determination three SLs (strigol, orobanchol, 5-deoxystrigol). The DLLME-SFO integrates one-step low-temperature extraction enrichment. conditions were optimized through a single-factor experimental design. Under best-tested conditions, exhibited excellent linearity, coefficient (R2) values greater than 0.9993. recoveries ranged from 83% to 96%, precision ranging 4.5% 12.4%. limits detection (LODs) varied 0.6 1.2 pg/g fresh weight, indicating high sensitivity method. Additionally, novel assay protocol quantification rice response nitrogen phosphorus stress was applied.

The improper application of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) presents significant health hazards via vector food contamination. A critical limitation these traditional existing approaches is their inability to concurrently discern and distinguish among diverse NSAIDs, presenting a notable gap in the analytical capabilities within this domain. Herein, creative dual-channel fluorescence sensor array was developed for rapid discrimination determination utilizing complexes cucurbit[8]uril (CB[8]) with three distinct modified poly(ethylenimines) (PEIs) address challenge. successfully differentiated identified 19 NSAIDs 97% accuracy at concentration 1 mM. In addition, it also achieved analyses individual across range concentrations, NSAID mixtures, impurities aspirin using statistical analysis methods. More importantly, approach effectively detected complex matrices, such as milk urine, demonstrating its potential real-world applications.
