Microorganisms remain in water from various sources after desalination and other treatments, posing health risks. We explored alternative natural disinfection agents, focusing on grape seed extract (GSE). collected local seeds Saudi Arabia analyzed their chemical components. Using gas chromatography–mass spectrometry inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, we identified essential phytochemicals the GSE, including polyphenols, flavonoids, alkaloids. Notably, GSE was free bacteria heavy-metal contamination rich beneficial nutrient metals. conducted qualitative analyses urine samples to detect bacterial infections, heavy metals, minerals. To assess GSE’s antibacterial potential, performed molecular docking analysis. Our results reveal a strong binding energy between protein receptors, parallel that of standard antibiotics. Additionally, laboratory pilot investigations align with those computational analyses, confirming efficacy. Agar well diffusion tests demonstrated significantly greater zones inhibition for crude oil compared both diluted positive control against detected samples. Furthermore, by four strains metals female samples, highlighting need effective disinfectants. shows promise as safe potent disinfectant.
