In the past few decades, metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) have been widely employed for a variety of applications such as sensors, adsorption, and catalysis. MOFs excellent gas sensing properties large specific surface area which makes them suitable candidate determination toxic hazardous gases. Some reports also shown that integration with other materials graphene, metal oxides, or conducting polymers may further improve their performance. MOF-derived demonstrated properties. this review article, we compiled recent progress in MOFs, MOF-based composites, applications. We believe present article benefit readers who are planning working on development sensors.
