This work proposes a sonochemical biosynthesis of magnetoplasmonic nanostructures Fe3O4 decorated with Au and Ag. The systems, such as Fe3O4-Ag, were characterized structurally magnetically. structural characterizations reveal the magnetite structures primary phase. Noble metals, Ag, are present in sample, resulting structure-decorated type. magnetic measurements indicate superparamagnetic behavior Fe3O4-Ag Fe3O4-Au nanostructures. carried out by X-ray diffraction scanning electron microscopy. Complementarily, antibacterial antifungal assays to evaluate potential properties future applications biomedicine.

Silica-based hybrid blends at different molecular or nanometer scale have gained a lot of interests from the technological point view. In particular, several inorganic-organic hybrids find application in biomedical field. this context, inorganic SiO 2 and made up polyethylene glycol (PEG) been synthesised via sol-gel route characterised morphological (throught Atomic Force Microscopy - AFM) spectroscopic view to shed light on their features as possible biomaterials. AFM investigation allowed for an effective quantitative evaluation surface roughness bioactive sol-gel-based materials. The results revealed increase material porosity function PEG amount systems, thus highlighting pivotal role compatibilizing silica-based blends. co-presence both organic phases was confirmed by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). Moreover, influence also investigated analysing deconvoluted FT-IR spectra range 1600-750 cm −1 .

Coaxial electrospun membranes made of polycaprolactone (PCL) and polyvinylalcohol (PVA) were produced filled with a promising synthetic gold complex (AuM1) for antitumoral applications. nanofibers characterized by PVA shell PCL + AuM1 core to design multi-step release in physiological environment. The coaxial structure can sensitively limit the burst effect, allowing 90% active substance about three days. By comparison, membrane loaded via uniaxial electrospinning releases drug 1 h. correlation kinetic data morphological evolution spectroscopic investigation highlighted how is process designing delivery systems control substances over time. proper core–shell could be great interest prolonged therapies, such as therapy.
