Objectives: This study aims to develop and evaluate quercetin-loaded silver nanoparticles (Q-AgNPs) as a potential therapeutic agent against cervical cancer, assessing their cytotoxic effects on HeLa cell lines. Methods: Quercetin was synthesized into AgNPs using bioreduction method involving nitrate, with subsequent characterization performed ultraviolet (UV)-Visible spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy. The cytotoxicity of Q-AgNPs evaluated in vitro cancer cells the MTT assay determine viability calculate IC50 value. Results: revealed successful synthesis, distinctive peaks observed UV-Visible spectroscopy confirming interaction between quercetin silver. particle size analysis indicated range sizes, an entrapment efficiency 85.4%. assessment demonstrated dose-dependent decrease viability, value calculated at 11.765 μg/mL, indicating significant effects. Conclusion: findings highlight promising innovative approach for therapy. Further optimization vivo studies are warranted explore mechanisms action enhance efficacy this nanoparticle formulation.
