Internal consistency reliability determined marginal Cronbach's alpha. a sub-sample 40 women who completed questionnaire two weeks later, test-retest via intraclass correlations. The IRT retained 23 items food type, breastfeeding complementary feeding, with acceptable discrimination difficulty. CFA produced six-factor solution (exclusive breastfeeding, breast milk expression, meal frequency, responsive dietary diversity, barriers) 17 Confirmatory Tucker Lewis indices > 0.9; Root Mean Square Errors Approximation Standardized Residuals < 0.08, showed good model fit. Overall alpha (0.843), subscales (≥ 0.6) high correlation coefficients (> 0.75) indicated reliability. The Africa is valid assessment tool mothers.
